I'm sorry but I don't really understand? Are you talking about the increased pressure on males to fill a specific identity versus women?
Yeah. Women have more space to express unisex gender identity (tomboy etc) without the same response that many men would be exposed to. There's also a lot of things that fill the land of "its either unisex or female" in the eyes of society. Women and men engineers are praised. Women in male heavy fields like car mechanics are praised. Men in "women fields", things like makeup and dress making for 2 really simple examples, are treated differently or presumed "gay".
There's a lot more "flexibility" as a woman, at a small guess. The appeared rigid ness of the male social order makes it unappealing to many
Tmi tbh but the high frequency with nightmares I've been experiencing made it so that my brain doesn't want to sleep smh lol
Usually if I'm having a particularly bad string of dreams I try and fall asleep listening to calm/familiar music. Can be kinda difficult sometimes but it usually helps me.
Best of luck to you getting thru it.
I do want to say though that I'm not the MOST knowledgeable in the WHYs of transgenderism.
This little blog seems to be OK at a cursory glance. Doesn't fall to heavily to being too feminist while referencing a lot of the beliefs pretty well (sex and gender being separate, etc.)

Smoking weed before going to bed reduces rem sleep and dreaming.
For a while when I wasn't smoking I used to dream about ex girlfriends constantly and would wake up feeling shitty af
it would be nice for a change if my nightmares were regular nightmares instead of some messed up shit
In cases of nightmares I'll also usually try and take a break from whatever I've been taking to help me sleep. If you're doing the same that might also help.
Beyond that there's things you probably aren't doing like eating chocolate and cheese before bed and things that may help subliminally such as me putting positive vibes out there for ur dreams.

Yeah I did that a bit last year when anxiety was running pretty high in college. I've been trying to get out of some of my sleeping habits recently though, and fall asleep by laying in silence, guess I'd call it naturally?
Biggest one I've been cutting is watching videos to sleep, I used to not be able to sleep without a YouTube video in my ear buds.
Every single nightmare I've had for the last few years (that I've remembered on waking) has been the exact same scenario but slightly different each time. It's usually brought on by intense anxiety so that might explain the thematic regularity I'm not sure.

This is something I've also made a big move to do lately.
Ideally I really want to not have to take some kind of supplement or medicine every night to sleep.

Please tell, this is actually interesting to me
I cannot wake from nightmares most of the time.
Really stinky waking up with a pounding heart thanking that it wasn't real.
Dunno how to stop it. It's becoming really frequent most nights now.
I have a common anxiety dream and a very common sad dream it's very strange.
Always wonder if they actually mean anything.
Goodnight
hope you have sweet dreams, friend
My nightmares have been less "wale up heart pounding and sweating" more "feel every negative emotions at once and be stuck in a funk you can not recover from during the day"
Lots of past life stuff/alternate cruel timeline shit i guess
I had a dream where I was self-mutilating my arms.

This is almost painfully relatable. To an incredible degree.
I empathize with this an absolute ton and really hope you don't have to deal with them so much in the future.
my worst nightmares are the ones that dont even feature any monsters or anything scary. theyre always hyper realistic scenes, like an empty neighborhood culdesac thats been empty for a few months. run down looking places that have a sense of danger about them. idk. its always really tense and leaves me in a funk for the following day
most of my nightmares would involve darkness and something stalking me
in one dream, it possessed my mom and made her strangle me
The dreams that effect me the most negatively, and the ones I have the most often, are perfectly realistic real-world situations.

When I was a little kid, there was this realistic tiger doll with eyes that follow where ever you go that would always pounce me in my nightmares. It's eyes would glow red before it does so. Sounds a bit silly, but this was when I was a freaking child, so it would scare the shit out of me a lot. The constant nightmares of that beast made me to paranoid of it in real life. Whenever I pass by it, it makes me so scared because I wouldn't be able to tell if I was in real life or in my dream, so him having his eyes glow red and fucking pounce me was so unpredictable to me at the time.
Good thing I got rid of that tiger.
