I can't stand anakin in the prequels. His character or actor or something is just way too corny and toolbag-ish. I liked 3 for the phase 2 clones and cool cg effects. I wish there were more big battles with clones. The one episode in the 2nd season of the clone wars series where they landed on Geonosis was fucking intense. They actually used d-day footage to help design the episode.
And I've said that I've seen all of them already, and that I want to watch them all at once, but I can't decide if I should do timeline or production order.
I did timeline. It was a bad idea basically. You think there's going to be some sort of magical revelation, a red thread going down according to George's vision. But there isn't. He's really just making shit up as he goes along. It feels much better going the natural "full circle" round of the production order. As I said, it really does start at IV and end at III. I pretty much assumes you know the OT already and VI isn't really that satisfying an ending.
Numerical. They'll progressively get better
I didn't find the prequels to be nearly as bad as everyone is saying, although it's true that they aren't nearly as good as the originals. I would watch them in timeline order.
I would have said to watch the original trilogy first so that they have more impact but then I realised you had already watched them or would already have known what happens anyway. Watch it 1 to 6 and finish feeling better and nostalgic.

I am so excited they are making three more based off the books and also boba survived
I am so excited they are making three more based off the books and also boba survived
wait what? there making more star wars movies?AND THERE NOT PREQUILS.....AND BOBA SURVIVED?.....cool
Yes, I had heard Boba survived the sarlacc but I don't remember how.
Yes, I had heard Boba survived the sarlacc.
cool im just wondering why they didnt show him surviving in return of the jedi
Episode 3 is the only good prequel.
Its the best prequel. That doesn't necessarily make it a good movie.
Its the best prequel. That doesn't necessarily make it a good movie.
yeh but atleast it can be enjoyed
cool im just wondering why they didnt show him surviving in return of the jedi
It was in the extended universe. And I enjoyed Episode III.
It was in the extended universe. And I enjoyed Episode III.
if i ever had a wish i'd like the original trilogy to have lightsaber fights like episode 3
yeh but atleast it can be enjoyed
Hardly. Between Haydens laughable "acting" and Georges inability to write natural dialogue the only thing that movie had going for it was a darker tone and seeing vader show up at the end and even that stinks what with the infamous "nooo" scene.
if i ever had a wish i'd like the original trilogy to have lightsaber fights like episode 3
Emotionless perfectly choreographed dances? Christ, no thanks.
I liked the swordplay in the original trilogy. In the original trilogy, it seemed more calculated. Like it took a bunch of control just to hold a lightsaber. In the prequel trilogy, they could do backflips and whatnot while maintaining control of the weapon. Eyecandy, basically. Now that I think of it, my favorite part of the prequel trilogy was Ewan McGregor. He really held the thing together and I believe gave a solid performance for Obi-Wan Kenobi.
I am so excited they are making three more based off the books and also boba survived
oh god i can't wait for more than 50% of star wars movies to be terrible
oh god i can't wait for more than 50% of star wars movies to be terrible
if there prequils or retarded star wars films meant for kids then they will be terrible if they are after the original trilogy then it might actually be good
Just because it's a prequel does NOT make it immediately terrible.
4, 5, 6, they are yet to make the first three.
4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, obviously. They are prequels for a reason.
watch them all 6 times each in order 444444 555555 etc
That's a good idea.
What are you kids talking about? Episode III was the worst. It plays like some kind of retarded cousin to the other two. Whatever little merit those had, and there was some, was completely flushed down the drain by III. You just like it because things happen, with no thought given to the fact that they happen in the worst way they could ever have happened in.
8, 6, 7, 5, 3, 0, 9.
The only redeeming factor of the prequels is the music.
Definitely 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3 You understand the events better.
456123 you get to watch the good movies first and understand why everyone hates 1-3
4,5,6 Then just read the novels of 1,2,3. I heard they are better.
they're on VHS? wow, those are the ones which haven't been digitally restored. Have fun seeing Jabba the Hutt look like a sack of marbles. [editline]06:32PM[/editline] Fuuuuuu- automerge
The un-edited once have a more alive touch, the new ones just looks so stiff and dead.
