Swoopo like auction scheme! they make all the profit!
He's bidding on like every single thing at once
I call bot
I don't know, not everything. Maybe he just has no life and has multiple tabs open.
I would get banned for posting "it's a trap" but they'd probably make it a month.
The question is, would it be worth it?
Do this:
:siren:MEMESHIT ALERT!:siren:
IT'S A TRAP!
-snip-
oh fuck oh fuck im gonna be ban
And he wasn't even banned in this thread.
This site is crazy. Everyone bids at the last second. Literally.
Plus each bid costs 60 cents. That means every time you increase the bid, it costs you 60 cents.
I just saw some guy get an iMac for $46.77

Nevermind, didn't know how the system worked.

First one I've ever seen in the US.
Ok...I'll explain it...I've been watching it and even purchased some bids to try to win something. I did win 100 bids, but it cost me about 40 bucks to do... Here's the deal...
First - You buy bids...Each bid costs 60 cents, no way around it unless you WIN more by bidding on them.
Second - Go find something you want to win, and start bidding on it. Everytime someone places a bid, the time on the countdown is increased.
The catch is in how much the bid price increases. For inexpensive / low quality items, they increase the bid by 5 cents each time. No bid deal, they still get the item paid for pretty much all the time.
For more expensive items, the bid increases by either 2 (For the PS3 / XBOX and similar items) or by only 1 cent for items such as Macbook Pro, Flat panel TVs etc... That's where they make all the money...Let me explain...
Take the Mackbook Pro. If you look at the recently sold list, the Macbook went for $600. That's a GREAT deal, right?? Well, yes...but only for the winner. Every other person has spent 60 cents PER BID to try to win that thing.
Now lets do the math.. If the website claims are true, and the Macbook sold for 600 bucks, we have to keep in mind that that EVERY SINGLE 60 cent bid only increased the price on the item 1 cent!!! So...
Final Price = $600
Raised per bid = 1 cent
To get to 600 bucks, you'd have to have 60,000 bids
Now the killer...
60,000 bids multiplied by the cost per bid to the user at 60 cents = $36,000
So! Everything having been said, they just sold a Macbook pro for $36,000. Good deal? For them!!
Another problem is who's checking their hand? They could be making usernames all they want and bidding on their own items. What do they have to lose? They increase the bids, suck you in to keep bidding in HOPES that the "person" will give up, and when they actually win the item, you're stuck with at least 20 to 40 bucks outta pocket, and they won so they don't have to ship any items anywhere!!
Scam...no one checking their hand...fake usernames...who knows...
I have 47 bids left...Have to spend them regardless...I'm going after a PS3 right now...I'll let you know if I win... If not, I'm outta pocket $28.20...
Hope this helps a ton of people.. Hasta!

That bid is going insane.
Sad thing is with all the bids they're making, they could have gone out to get one.
An example is the 50 bids voucher, 60 cents per bid at 130 bids.
That is $78 worth of bids.
The voucher was $30.
PS3 is over!
$32.52
2 cents each bid @ 60 cents a bid
1,626 Bids at 60 cents each
$975.60 made by bids.
The PS3 is/was $399.99
Don't you love schemes like these? Saying they are cheaper when they cost more than buying it regularly?

You sir, are amazing
Here's something that explains it. It's not quibids but it's similar.

This could still save you money considering you're not the only one bidding all the time.
You could just constantly watch some of the bids and get the hang of it, see when people start to give in/around when you win something and then go on and watch something new you want the next day and just throw in bids near the end. I might try that, post here if/when I do with the result!
