What is happening with your jacket it's like something made by Square Enix
how is that formal? looks like blue chinos or some other form of casual trousers with a blue casual shirt.
Yes you're right.
go to a job interview in that and you will be turned down
Don't that depend on the job though?
Don't that depend on the job though?
well yeh but in general if you turn up to a job interview in chinos it's not the best impression. i went for a job interview for a part-time supermarket thing and wore a tie and then when i didn't wear a tie on the training day they frowned at me

You mostly see his upper body so I think that's what the guy was getting at.
Chinos can look professional under the right circumstances. As in, they're neatly pressed, fit well, and are a neutral color. For example, nice grey chinos looks great with a black dress shirt, provided everything fits properly.
if you wear shit like this then i feel sorry for you [img_thumb]http://www.kingofswords.com/images/jl239dr.jpg[/img_thumb]
what goes with brick red corduroys? they are a bit brighter and the fit is slimmer in person
I really like this vest. I find the tan colours of this formal wear compliments blonde hair well.

I cannot thank this thread enough for showing me Jack Threads.
Does someone here know a good website for vintage/old clothing?
What would be a good descriptor of the majority of the fashion in this thread? inb4 "hipster hurr"
What would be a good descriptor of the majority of the fashion in this thread? inb4 "hipster hurr"
fashionable? v:v:v
Does someone here know a good website for vintage/old clothing?
This appeared on my facebook the other day. Haven't really looked through it and never bought anything of it so can't really vouch for it but it might be worth a look. http://www.beyondretro.com/ Otherwise I'd say you're better off going to charity shops or looking round markets.
What would be a good descriptor of the majority of the fashion in this thread? inb4 "hipster hurr"
I'd say fairly mainstream fashion (chinos, slim jeans etc). Although some people seem to adhere to some sort of skater-y hybrid (plaid shirts, vans, the occasional flat-brim cap).
some people seem to adhere to some sort of skater-y hybrid (plaid shirts, vans, the occasional flat-brim cap).
that's pretty mainstream too
that's pretty mainstream too
Yeah I know, but it's just that it's a slight off-shoot from mainstream fashion as dictated by high street shops. (Which in the UK tends to mean Topshop/Topman, River Island etc).
I guess that's why I don't particularly like the fashion here so much. It just always seemed kinda boring.
But seriously, everything in this thread is quite varied. We have people that wear urban style clothing, and people that wear more formal clothes. And of course there's the people with clothing that is jsut plain awful :v:
Me yesterday: [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4442544/1.png[/t] Me now: [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4442544/2.png[/t] Good? Bad?
Need a better picture, it looks like a bowl haircut
shave it all off
Me yesterday: [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4442544/1.png[/t] Me now: [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4442544/2.png[/t] Good? Bad?
i might need another picture but it looks like you're just combing it down onto your forehead, or down and over to the side. The latter would work if you had longer hair but for your hair right now i would suggest pushing it up off of your head before you part it over to the side. A nice neat haircut tends to always be pushed up off of the face in one way or another, so start there. p.s. Go to askmen.com for some ideas on fashionable hairstyles

you should shave more often, that dirt stache doesn't make the bad haircut look any better. You could try just putting some product and styling it up or to the side, so it would hopefully look better. can we get a fashion dump? The lovely and fine lady I was going to ask to dinner last night is unfortunately unsure if she can, and I have heard tale of her trying to work things out with her recent ex. This is upsetting to me. [tab]In other news[/tab] I went to a pretty cool party instead last night and got all of the compliments on my shoes/shirt.
Buy a harem of prostitutes and parade around the city with them.
