so it's 60F where I live, and these pants already have a hole in them at knee level, I decided to make them cutoffs. Go to stab scissors through them (not wearing them), and I cut my finger open. woops. had to drag them over with my foot and put them on with 1 hand so I could call my mom into my room :(

worth it? ignore the shirt
Short chinos come in a nice variety of colors this year, like blues, light reds, and most earth tones.
I too prefer them under a blazer.

That looks really classy, try getting it tailored around the waist if you think it's flaring out too much down there.
You could also try a new hairstyle if you think your hair looks too thinned out and dry. All you'd have to do is browse some pictures of nice hair and pick out something you like.
I need some alright looking shorts, I really do. I go back to college in the next couple of weeks and it's still terrible sweltering summer here, plus I bike everywhere so basically I won't be wearing jeans on campus for several months to come. help me
What I have currently are a few pairs of board shorts. I had a couple of pairs of black cargoes that I had received as gifts but I sold them a while back because I hated them.
Anyway, I feel like you just can't win with shorts. I don't ever remember seeing shorts that were nice, so I'd probably compromise for anything that isn't horrible. Can anyone recommend anything?
cut-off skinny jeans make awesome shorts
Oops.

I'm getting this for a costume, but I also happen to like it. Am I becoming what I hate most?

Looks like something someone would wear with no pants.

This guy popped into my head, it looks a little feminine but I don't know anything about that kind of coat. I don't really like it.

Can somebody help me find a peacoat for ~160 dollars that would be casual to wear in temperatures that aren't incredibly cold
I don't want one designed for really cold temperatures, don't know if what I am looking for really exists
[editline]28th January 2012[/editline]
or maybe if anyone has any ideas, some sort of other jacket/coat that still look good
[editline]28th January 2012[/editline]
really I just want some kind of casual jacket/coat that isn't just a regular hoodie

is anyone familiar enough with jackthreads sizing to know which size would best suit a 5'8" 120lb individual with 12 inch biceps and arms that are 31 inches from shoulder to fingertips, 34 inch chest and 33 inch waist?
[editline]28th January 2012[/editline]
my hands are about 7-8 inches long from wrist to fingertip as well

always avoid light jeans
[editline]27th January 2012[/editline]
also, it'd be much cheaper to just buy the jeans from levi and cut them off yourself
It might be a bad picture, but if I were you I'd go for a darker colour and wear it with a white top & white shoes.
Hey thanks for the tip there :v:
every good looking cardigan on jackthreads is sold out of size small :(
Pretty sure that I'm ready to get a different hair style now. Shortish is a must.

Can you return? If so I think I have just fallen in love with the website.
two of the six items are returnable...
ordinarily i would order then see if it fits then if it doesn't return and buy items in the correct size, but damn they deliver slow, the clothes would come in a week and 2 days

Check out the shirt measurements, find something comparable to what you have already and you'll have a decent idea.
