And what's wrong with femininity? Unless you're going for the lumberjack look.
So you're basically saying if a man is not feminine they're lumberjacks? Right ok.
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/pretty I don't see "feminine" on there. And what I meant is that femininity isn't a bad thing unless you're actively trying to be as masculine as possible.

If we're bringing it down to a dichotomy then it's lumberjack vs drag queen, take your pick. Most clothes are unisex, especially hipster shit. There's plenty of variety before you have to start pulling ideas from the ladies department.
Then if you want to avoid a dichotomy, why does everyone here keep saying feminine=bad? Also most plain men's clothes are too big on me.
Notice how the word feminine is closely resembled to female? I was curious about your whole idea about waxing your legs or whatever so I asked my girlfriend what she would think if my legs were hairless. She said it would look so weird and she always tells me she loves my masculine and strong features as well as being a bit hairy. You seem to be the opposite of that Upgrade.

My girlfriend says she likes that I'm in touch with my feminine side.
Then if you want to avoid a dichotomy, why does everyone here keep saying feminine=bad? Also most plain men's clothes are too big on me.
Because it does look bad. This isn't about personal style or anything, a guy with no hair beyond a Jennifer Aniston haircut, ultra-skinny jeans and a blouse will always look retarded. It's not a valid personal style any more than trenchcoat mafia bullshit is.
My girlfriend says she likes that I'm in touch with my feminine side.
Does she mind that you're no where in touch with your masculine side?

[editline]31st January 2012[/editline]
Does she mind that you're no where in touch with your masculine side?
Because the way I dress completely dictates my personality. Okay.
Far out Upgrade... there's no winning with you. I wouldn't have a problem with you if you just came out of the closet. What you show is generic homosexual traits and what I think annoys me is that you are still convinced that you're straight. Look I have no problem with gays, I'm not homophobic or anything, but I think you need to rethink your sexuality.
This is a fashion advice thread, not a fashion argument thread

By your logic, homosexuals with masculine traits should rethink their sexuality too.
So all the real-life people that like my style are a huge conspiracy? Makes sense.
Most people in my home town think sweatpants and $5 t-shirts from target are pretty fashionable. Most people don't know shit about what looks good.
everytime Upgrade posts this turns into an argument can we just leave him be I'm almost certain he'll grow out of it have some casual [thumb]http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a186/Heroms/DSC00005.jpg[/thumb]
Such a big man, calling my orientation into question. By your logic, homosexuals with masculine traits should rethink their sexuality too.
I said generic traits not all. Stop twisting my words around.
Most people in my home town think sweatpants and $5 t-shirts from target are pretty fashionable. [editline]31st January 2012[/editline]
I said generic traits not all. Stop twisting my words around.
Define "generic traits" then.

At first I thought you disagreed with him but I'm starting to think you're trying to piss people off.
holy shit another 2 pages of upgrade stirring shit are you guys serious
Are you trying to be as difficult as you can be? At first I thought you disagreed with him but I'm starting to think you're trying to piss people off.
I'm trying to understand your guys' reasoning.
Fine I'll stop responding to him. I wasn't aware that he stirred shit up before so sorry I should have stopped arguing with him sooner. It's most definitely going to happen again though (Upgrade and someone else I mean, I'll try to stay out of it).
everytime Upgrade posts this turns into an argument can we just leave him be I'm almost certain he'll grow out of it have some casual [thumb]http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a186/Heroms/DSC00005.jpg[/thumb]
I need to get a charcoal shirt like that, my old one is falling apart.
So if you're dressing in what the internet deems fashionable, yet everyone in your community doesn't think the same, doesn't that sort of defeat the purpose of fashion?
Everyone else also loves eating McDonalds and watching daytime soap operas but the internet says they're wrong. Who am I to believe, people with experience and diversity or people who live near me?
Stop acting like Upgrade is the only one causing problems You guys are just fueling the fire by responding to him in an argumentative tone
Came to thread after not being home for two days, see this post ^, dies on the inside a little.
Spring and summer are coming, guys. Are flip flops OK? Or do they still reek of bro? What with the sound they make when people don't know how to lift their legs when they walk. Mocassins seemed pretty prevalent lst summer...
Everyone wears thongs (flip-flops) in Australia, so handy. I don't know how it is in America.
So I've been wearing the jeans I soaked the other day for two days now, I'm pretty pleased with the results. They didn't shrink as much as I would've liked but they did shrink more than I had hoped. You forget how nice it is to wear wider jeans after wearing skinnies for so long. I also got a hair cut but I don't really like it, thinking of going back and getting the sides trimmed more.
Nice Does anyone have some guidelines for the way jeans fit? I don't think I ever get it right.
Find jeans like Levi's 511.
