But really. I need to shed 27lbs to be thin again so I can wear all my good clothes and jeans.
I'm a man with a mission.

And right there, you've given me a good reason to keep going. I want to look damned good in that blazer (and my other stuff, but one step at a time).

Ok let me go cut off some stomach and my thighs.
Can I donate like 200 pounds?
Ok back on topic.
I mentioned some Adidas shoes earlier.
I think they're these:

Are they acceptable?

I'm not too keen on straight black shoes. A dark gray fits very well with almost every kind of pant.

My jeans are too dark to be worn with anything other than black shoes. If I had some lighter pairs I get something other than black shoes.

I don't know, I kinda like dark gray shoes with black pants. It's down to preference, and those shoes aren't anything to hit home with but I'd wear them if I had a pair.
I already finished with the first week of stronglifts for my exercise routine. One thing that really motivates me is to fit and look better in clothes. And I told myself I can't buy any new clothes until I lose weight since they won't fit if I did lose any.

My jeans are more of a really dark blue, they looks weird with anything other than black shoes imo.
Plus these shoes were kinda free so I'm not going to complain about them. I wouldn't have bought them if I was shoe shopping though.
I apologize for the shitty photo quality (it's 1:30AM and I still have much to learn when it comes to self photography). At any rate, I got two blazers for Christmas, one navy, one charcoal. This is the latter.
I'm still working on the overall outfit. I'm thinking darker jeans (with a slight faded look) and a slightly dressier black shirt would do good. As would learning how to photograph myself so I look like what I see in the mirror :v:

Huge improvement over this, which is how I looked about 5 years ago.

GLORIOUS! YESSS, YESSSSSSSSS!
Its been a long time since I've seen someone else wearing a blazer in this thread. Honestly, I think it looks pretty good, and nicely fitted. Definitely get some darker jeans (black ones are good too!) and a few corresponding dress shirts. You don't necessarily need a black button down (and if you are going to be wearing dark jeans as well, you don't want to make the outfit too dark), and a white one is a nice alternative (although it works best in combination with a tie.) Another thing is to look at some sweaters (turtlenecks are my personal favorite), as they compliment the blazer nicely, without making it too dressy.
I love blazers, and I feel they go a little bit under the radar here most of the time.
(if you have any other questions about blazers and such things, feel free to ask!)
I know I'm a little late but I really enjoy this Greg Plitt video to motivate myself
As douche as he looks, he makes good points

Fuck I love that video, applies to so many more things than just working out too.
Also, good morning thread, this was me today.

Not too big a fan of that, I have better ideas for puffy jacketz.
Supreme x TNF F/W 11' probably costs half the price.

Also looks less than half as good. Not that you'd catch me in either, I'd rather have the Mackintosh x Bape jacket. Or a regular Mackintosh for about 1500 cheaper for that matter.
The Grey is the best of the three TNFs, a lot more versatile.

I must object to anyone getting a crap short back and sides and then plastering the fringe vertical with product
When I was in school, practically everyone did that for like a whole five years, Not a single one of them failed to look completely awful
