I thought skateboarders wore them so when they fell it wouldn't hurt as much but I could be wrong. What's the real reason?

Instead of wearing a conventional belt, Skateboarders often wear shoelaces in belt loops to hold their pants up. This is done mostly for fashion, but it is also useful because belt buckles often dig into a skater's stomach when skating. Since shoelaces don't acquire belt buckles, this stomach digging is avoided. Another reason this is done is to avoid the excessive pain belts can cause if a Skateboarder should fall.
And shoelace belts are useful for packing blunts and joints!

You always make the exact same face that looks like you hate life, try to smile a bit.
I've always preferred 5-panels, I have a massive head and they make heads look smaller.
Bought a new supreme one yesterday (ethnic tribal camp cap)
I wanted the olive one. Nobody wants them because they're soft bills/nylon, but it doesn't seem hard to rock from what I've observed.
The pattern is real cool, so since it's also diminishing in resale value woooo

Hoping to get 1 - 2 more supreme hats that I'll rotate every once in awhile, I don't wear hats all the time because I'm not into urbanwear too much anymore other than Supreme.
I don't know why, but whenever I see people wear those stupid baseball cap variations (fitteds, snapbacks, whatever you guys call them) I feel an unexplainable urge to punch them in the face. Nearly everyone I know who wears them are complete dicks, and then you'll get other people who'll just stick one on the top of their head and claim they're 'swag'
imo fitted and snapbacks have as much place in fashion as sweatpants and Uggs do. I don't mind if people wear them, it just weird though how people give them so much emphasis in their wardrobe. Hats are usually just hypebeast.
I have no idea what "Hypebeast" means.
Also it makes me sad that caps have such a bad rep due to the people that wear them.
I love my hats but it certainly doesn't make me sWagAdElIc~ when I wear them
I don't mind the more popular or even hypebeast stuff now, but what really matter is why people wear it.
I absolutely hate when people wear clothing so they try and fit in with everybody else, or a status symbol.

A word coming from urbanwear which really extends to all clothing fads really.
I only have 1 supreme hat atm but I wear that motherfucker like a crown.
oh
I just buy hats cuz I like the team on it. :(
Or whatever is on it.
Like my Beavis and Butt-Head cap.
Chicago Bulls snapbacks, Chicago Bulls snapbacks everywhere
Imo hypebeasts wear skate brands, never skated in their life.

I don't even care about this one, since when did anybody who wore Polo Ralph Lauren actually play polo?
This only time I see this rule applicable is for people who drive hummers in suburbia.
Are you hypebeast?

I feel like I can't provide input here because everyone takes pictures of themselves wearing beanies/sweaters/jackets and other cold weather gear. Nobody wears that stuff down here in the desert.
How's the book?
Are you hypebeast?
Asks the man with an odd future avatar.
jk love <3
I just looked at some old photos of myself and I have to say, I'm very happy.

Gotta get some less puffy gloves, though. Gotta keep my hands warm because shitty disease but winters in my city aren't cold enough to warrant these massive things...

I rarely wear winter gear. I live in South Texas hah.

I think you're referring to me, in which case, lovely.
Chicago Bulls snapbacks, Chicago Bulls snapbacks everywhere
There used to be shitloads of 13 year olds wearing NY Yankees fitteds back in the day. Thank god they aren't anymore.
How's the book?
Bathroom table wobbles :v:
Cool kids rock fitteds for teams they actually like. Like me, Boston Red Sox fitteds or gtfo.
