why do we use ucp
politicians
pretty much
[editline]30th October 2012[/editline]
ucp could actually be very effective if they just made off shoots of it like ucp-d and put those into service instead of whole new camo pattern but its all good

Except they've had that for longer than digiflora
dunno, it seems like it's a darker shade as opposed to the weird one you see every-so-often
afaik it looked more like marpat coloration

Oh yeah one of the largest malls in America is there http://www.natickmall.com/
one of the coolest camo patterns i saw decades back was a south african night-time special forces bdu set. black, dark blue, and dark purple. during the day, it was funky looking, but even in open areas in non-urban zones, the guys were near invisible. nvg picked them up fine, but that kind of gear was basically nonexistant amongst their opponents back then, and scarce now..... the design blended into the shadows instead of the background, and helped 'flatten' the wearer's outline in the viewer's vision. got to see some of the early "pixel" camo at the same expo. it was all tiny green and brown squares with scattered tan ones. it was supposed to defeat nvg and thermo-optic gear by looking like a green-screen or static on same.. haven't seen either type in use anywhere in ages....
