GUIDE TO TRAIN TICKETS If you wish to get to your destination (Single) If you wish to get to your destination and back (Return) If you wish for two people on the same train to get to your destiation and back (Two returns) Althoughhhhh, i would of thought the buses substantially cheaper! Tea, would you remind everyone of how much megabuses are?
You can get megatrain for £2.50 return from portsmouth. I pay more than that and I'm only travelling 25 miles to get into London :(
Tea, would you remind everyone of how much megabuses are?
About tree fiddy
About tree fiddy
Pro Tip from sitting on a megabus in the past: NEVER sit on the back seat, lower deck. Your ass will be welded to the seat from the heat by the time you're at london.
I haven't been on the double decked ones yet but on the back of the coachhes is where the toilet is so every few minutes you smell shit and some fat guy coming out of it. Also, everytime I've sat with someone else it's always an indian, not being racist but just sayin
I doubt I'll be able to come to this, megabus doesn't appear to run from Edinburgh -> London after the 13th of December and train tickets are too expensive.
I doubt I'll be able to come to this, megabus doesn't appear to run from Edinburgh -> London after the 13th of December and train tickets are too expensive.
get east coast, it costs a hundred pounds btw, the reason they don't have tickets for that date yet is because they release tickets for 12 weeks in advance, in accordance with the timetable. wait until 12 weeks (ish) before you book the tickets and it'll be there.
btw, the reason they don't have tickets for that date yet is because they release tickets for 12 weeks in advance, in accordance with the timetable.
Oh well that clears things up
Damn, I'm in Newcastle and I don't think I can catch the train... Tits.
Damn, I'm in Newcastle and I don't think I can catch the train... Tits.
You can get trains from Newcastle to London, or you could get Megabus I suppose.
You can get trains from Newcastle to London.

I don't think I can catch the train...
On a helpful note though, Slack, if you do really want to go get Megabus. will be a 6-7 hour trip from Newcastle though
Damn, I'm in Newcastle and I don't think I can catch the train... Tits.
Sunderland is better.
So let's start discussing what to actually do, and does anyone important want to discuss the dates?
On a helpful note though, Slack, if you do really want to go get Megabus. will be a 6-7 hour trip from Newcastle though
I guess I could try it out, but I'm not sure I'd be able to make the bus either. I have classes for a few hours in the morning and 7-8 hours won't get me there in due time.
well last time we went to speaker's corner after hezzy left which everyone seemed to enjoy, so that sounds good again. the namco arcade will probably be heaving around that time, as will oxford street

Oh hey I was gone for 5 days and this happens. We need a York meet sometime.
Oh hey I was gone for 5 days and this happens. We need a York meet sometime.
Why don't you y'know make one then?
In London, it's always great on Southbank - watching the street performers, or even at low tide chilling on the Thames beach, throwing rocks into the water etc.
I should buy from Spray paint for southbank. [editline]29th October 2010[/editline] Southbank is fun. This massive guy ran out of paint and he goes up to this kid about my age, maybe a year or two older and goes "Can I have your paints?" and obviously the kid said no, so what the massive guy did was pickup the kids paint, spray the kids face and walk off with them. Good times, good times.
Oh hey I was gone for 5 days and this happens. We need a York meet sometime.
Easter
Easter
Don't forget we'll have i42 at Easter too.
Don't forget we'll have i42 at Easter too.
Well fuck. February Half term?
Well fuck. February Half term?
Sounds good; I have nothing on in February
Can we decide on what we are actually going to do? I'm assuming its going to involve money, and my parents have just decided they don't want me borrowing off them any more. So either I got to get a shitty excuse to earn below minimum wage or save what I have. [editline]23:01[/editline] There's no paper round or anything near by. Ill probably be doing cleaning. I blame facepunch for making me work. [editline]29th October 2010[/editline] Just kidding, I love you.

You'll have to provide your own duster though. [editline]29th October 2010[/editline] jk I have no money :C
So is this "shitloads of people hanging out a Tea's the night before/after" thingy actually happening?
well everythings a go on my end, I should think it'll be at the end of the day once the people who aren't staying (you're all welcome to) have gone home. We still need to discuss what to do and if the 21st is still the best date personally I think we should do at least the weekend before
Just thought weekends coming up to Christmas would be even busier.
Everyone'll break up at the end of that previous week so the sooner the better, since the closer it gets to christmas the more people there are gonna be rushing for shopping.
True, but it just seems that apart from business that having it on a weekend would be easier for other poeple also we should find some activity to focuse around like hugging goths in camden or something
