How does it take you 6 hours to get to London Britain is goddamn tiny. I was curious so I checked how long it would take to drive from the northernmost city to the southernmost and it was like 4 hours.
Are you bicycling

John O'Groats to Land's End. 837 miles. 15 hour trip. If you wanted to make that in 4 hours, you'd have to travel at 209 miles per hour without any stops.

fffffffffff
why would anyone want to go north of london anyway
Still unsure if I'm going to come, a train ticket for me is £23.15 (and even then I've gotta buy my travelcard) - plus the date is hilariously close to Christmas so it'll be busy as hell.

Also bengley don't tell me to buy a brighton ticket, I can't be fucked
Have you guys decided what you're going to do / how long you're going to trollop around town?
U.S really needs a meetup like these. Sometimes it encourages me to just visit the UK for a couple of days.

trollop: "slattern: a dirty untidy woman"
You can't be fucked to save money? Fair enough!
why are there people both on the confirmed attending and unconfirmed lists at the same time???
If you do get dropped off at my house and take the train with me to London.
Autumn the only time I have been to London is when I have gone to the airport on holiday, I don't know anything about it. It would be alright if we were meeting up at Euston station, but the moment I get to Euston I have to get on a train to Victoria station to get to platform nine and three quarters. I would just prefer to go with someone.
I am not sure Omolong, never used the train before. :/
Holy FUCK that was difficult how does anyone cope sitting on a train for 6 minutes!?!?!
i think you need to calm down about rail based transport

I said Britain not the UK.
I also did it from around South Shields somewhere to Plymouth.
Maybe I'm just remembering the times wrong :saddowns:

What am I not doing posting in this thread? :smug:
I want to go! But I can't afford it :saddowns:. The US doesn't have any of these cool get together things. Not enough at any rate. And it's so fucking big it makes it nigh impossible to organize them.
[editline]29th November 2010[/editline]
Also I don't have a passport
As in said in every one of these threads, arrange one then.

Steps to organising a meetup:
1. Post thread with title 'X Meetup <DATE>' X being the location, preferably a large city reasonably close to you.
2. Wait for people to reply and say they'll come.
3. Turn up to meeting place at specified time.
Now go do it

Britain is the UK minus Northern Ireland. You have poor geography skills.

I'm pretty sure Scotland is in Britain.
I think you're confusing Britain with England.
England is what you're thinking of. Britain consist of England, Scotland and Wales. The United Kingdom is England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
It really isn't hard.
I like the part where you said "I said Britain not the UK." like I was the one that was wrong
Maby this time i'll be able to find some decent booze. Last meetup we ended up in the only pub in the country with no ales on tap.

If you try the walking directions for that, it tells you to walk to Heysham to get a ferry to the Isle of Man, and then a ferry to Dublin. Then you get a ferry from Rosslare (Ireland) to Roscoff (France). Then it tells you to get a ferry to Plymouth. 3 days and 14 hours to do that.
I am bad with numbers damn it. And apparently your country. I don't like this title :saddowns:
Make it go away please I'm sorry

I'm actually rather good at geography...
