theres always nut oil
Coco beens makes alot
I'll be in my bunker im planing on createing
Create oil with my fists. Or use a bike.
Sustainable energy will be sufficient enough by the time oil runs out.
Hydrogen economy.
Haven't we already discovered several potential alternative energy sources?
Oil does a lot more than fuel cars. So I think I might be fucked without oil. Without oil to power our machinery, a lot of the industry will cease.
Dump some ethanol in my car and advance the ignition timing
Bitch and complain about how it's someone else's fault.
Oil will never run out. The real problem is that production will reach it's peak, demand for oil will exceed the supply, and prices will skyrocket.
We make more http://www.technologyreview.com/Biztech/19128/
I'm sure everyone on facepunch has huge reserves stored.

:foxnews: OIL IS INFINITE NO NEED TO WORRY :foxnews:
Im pretty sure the world will switch to another power source before we even get close to running out.
But what about classic bikes and cars? :smith:
They're already tearing themselves apart because of a slight increase in Ethanol in fuel.
Not even the world's end is going to stop humans from moving on, let alone the lack of oil.
Hope you guys realize oil could also include gas which would leave us without cheap plastic
Problem being?
More like problem solved. Plastic is more of a problem than it is a solution right now.
We've managed just fine without plastic before.
We don't need oil to run cars. Oil companies need us to buy their oil. That's all. We can simply use a different sustainable fuel. Someone mentioned hemp oil. I am sure there's many other solutions besides electricity.
just for fun:

Read The Limits to Growth for a bunch of good predictions. Or rather the updated version since the original was published in 1972.
Voyage to Titan, set up the first off-world 'oil' rigs. Make gazillions of money.
Take a dump in outer space.
Excuse me? Plastic in today's world is unnecessary?
Hahaha no?
That's not what i said. I said it's something we'd rather not have as much around of as we do now.
Plastic has it's uses. But we are way overusing it.
We can go back to paper, carton, glass, wood and tin without even realizing we needed plastic for packaging, toys, guns, etc etc.
Oil companies will buy out clean energy companies to keep making their outrageous salaries and will begin supporing Republicans and the Church saying "And then God said, Use solar energy!"
Tbh though there have been other energy crisises in the past too, like when humans burned wood for fuel instead of oil and all the other fuels that surpassed it.
I'm thinking the same thing will happen and we move onto the next best thing.
Rustfest galore
Build a stainless car on salt water :smug:
Think some guy developed a machine that converts plastic to oil. We're not running out anytime soon, and when we are, we'll already have improved technology that uses alternate energy sources.
Methane Hydrate! One tone of it can power New York for 2 Years (i think)
Google that bitch.
It's just fucking difficult to go 2900ft to the seabed and find it though.
If we actualy would, most people would work at a other source of energy, or a way to get more oil/create it.
So, yeah. Nothing to fear at all.
I think that moonstone would be better than Oil, though the price to get a bit from it to the earth is too high :saddowns:
Breath a sigh of relief and not worry about my children being drafted.
