Are you serious? It's going to take more than 20-30 years. Technological advancement is consistent and exponential. We will continue to compensate for decreasing oil supply. I suspect it will be long enough away that we will
A. Have more important problems (yikes!)

This. People seem to dread some day in the future when the last pump team's well gives its last drop, and the world erupts into some apocalyptic crisis. We won't fall apart at the hinges when the oil runs dry, there were be plenty of transitional technologies compensating for our decreased supply LONG before then.
