Muscle cars and guns are better than tuners and airsoft
Clearly the Scandinavians are vastly superior to both then. Æ Ø Å
Switzerland is actually pretty badass.
People that have never been to Japan have no right to comment. Japan would be a utopia if it weren't for it's overpopulation problem. But that problem will go away in time. Meanwhile, the US will still be stuck in its superiority complex while it's destroying the planet and the people are living in their shit hole that they've been brainwashed into believing is so wonderful. American's are so fucking stupid.

Well at least Japan gave us an interesting culture (Pre-1860s, that is).
And their bushido code of honor is interesting.
Most Japanese music sucks compared to America's(or any other country for that matter).

lol overpopulation. if they keep going the way they are by the year 3000 there'll be 27 Japanese people.
As of 1998, nationwide, there has been 1 recorded incident in which a permit holder shot someone following a traffic accident. The permit holder was not charged, as the grand jury ruled the shooting was in self defense.
the source for this claim is from a book which there's no way I can verify who the author got HIS source from.
read all the opposition to the book from which that claim came from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/More_Guns,_Less_Crime#Opposition
it just doesn't seem realistic that only ONE shooting occurred.
[editline]12:01AM[/editline]
and that gun control article on justfacts isn't that reliable..
read the sources. several are the NRA
I know three people with dual Japan/American citizenship, I know they said they like America more, I'm not sure what their reasons are. I think something about the schools being less strict and more extra-curricular activities.
North America is
Best America

I highly doubt that overpopulation is a reason behind lack of the completely mythical notation of a utopia society in a nation.
As for the "American's are so fucking stupid", that's huge generalization.

Unless you have to learn that shit in history class
Then it's a rightful pain in the arse

Can't beat back the facts, so you go after the sources.
I'd laugh if I weren't surprised.

lol facts
when the sources can't be checked and verified they aren't facts broheim
find me the book in which he makes that claim that only one incident occurred then. like I said before, we have now way of knowing who the AUTHOR USED AS A SOURCE. why the fuck would they have a book as a source? that makes no sense
and the website had the NRA as a source a few times lol
America is too to an extent, although we don't have segregated sectors of cities. Granted there are Little Mexico's and China Towns, but those are by the choices of those who live there, not the system itself.
The amount of idiocy in this post made me go brain dead for a moment :suicide:
Anime - Side effect of the radiation.
Here's some unbiased [Canadian] notes about what I liked about each country:
Japan
-the cities are plain better: denser, more energetic, more interesting, much easier to get around without a car (trains!), cleaner
-more polite, which comes out in public transport and such (here in Toronto people are often being loud, smelly, and generally inconsiderate on the trains)
-futuristic!
USA
-less consumerism-obsessed. Obviously there are people that spend money for fun but it seems like a huge chunk of Tokyo is fixated on spending money to look good.
-I like the politeness of Japan but occasionally it got a bit stifling, like when I would buy a sandwich at a convenience store and felt weird eating it on the street. US is less judgmental in this regard.
-lower prices (although, lower wages)
Switzerland is actually pretty badass.
Why do people get Sweden and Switzerland confused

is that your rebuttal? seriously, the fucking website had NRA as sources several times.
and once again, there's no way of us checking what source the author used for that statistic. you're going to automatically accept it as a "fact" because it supports your position. good job.

After your response, I'm pretty sure any source I give you that would support my statements will be found not up to your godly standards. Thus, that "rebuttal", as you put it.
I was hoping you wouldn't be one of those idiots that go straight for "Oh no, the SOURCES AREN'T GOOD" type, but I guess humoring the thought was pointless.
Just going out on a whim here, but most history books are going to have to be fact-checked and found to be even a little credible. If not, there needs to be a gross overhaul of the publishing industry.
After your response, I'm pretty sure any source I give you that would support my statements will be found not up to your godly standards.
uh, not really. and godly standards? asking to see the source is a godly standard? lol
I was hoping you wouldn't be one of those idiots that go straight for "Oh no, the SOURCES AREN'T GOOD" type, but I guess humoring the thought was pointless.
how am I an idiot? you're the one that accepted the statistic as fact without even verifying it, simply because it supported your position.
Japan is great so long as you aren't an attractive woman who likes to ride on trains.

The issue here is that you go into an endless spiral of "fact checking". If we must fact check the history book sources, someone will call out to fact check those sources, and then fact check the sources behind those ones.
It's an endless cycle to avoid giving an argument when facts are established in the first place. God forbid you give a counter argument, no, you must attack it's sources!

And if you given any sources to support your position, I can just go ahead and say, "Oh, those sources are biased and unworthy" as well.

they're not facts that are established in the first place brohound. anyone can make up a bullshit claim and pass it off as a fact. before you know it everyone is citing it.

You think the US is the only country contributing to the massive environmental problems? China and India let their populations spiral the fuck out of control, Oriental countries rarely give a shit about their environment, China's relentless hunt for coal and massive overpopulation problem has totally fucked up their ecosystem, and Southern American countries have been destroying their environment for years through massive deforestation and slash and burn agriculture.
Considering you are American, yes, Americans are so fucking stupid. At least we have people trying to fix our problems and help preserve the environment here, do you think the Chinese government gives a flying fuck about their environment? At least we know we have a problem, and at least we try to fix it.
At least Japan knows how to recycle. And the hell makes you think any country could ever be a "Utopia"?

irrelevant
I haven't posted any sources
you, on the other hand, posted some sources that you hadn't even verified yourself and then you had the audacity to pass them off as facts because they supported your position.
