Starting a new anime soon. Thinking about School Days. Yes?
Yes, yes, YES.
The show is a 4/10, but the ending bumps it up to an extremely satisfying level and awards with a 7/10.
3 points for one episode, now that's well done.

Hahahaha, that's fucking awesome.
That's why speed test sites are bullshit,
No, they are accurate, they show what you pay for. If you wan't more realistic results then you check other countries from far away.
Then you just need to have a host that has a big enough upload speed for you to download from.
Hey, can anyone help me. I'm looking to expand my anime "pallet".
I was first exposed to anime as a youngster 9/10 years old watching my dad's copy akira on DVD. I then proceeded to watch the original ghost in the shell. around this time pokemon, dragonball z and yugioh began airing on cartoon network and I was sucked into that.
By my late teens, my taste had refined. studio ghibli movies, as well as perfect blue and paprika joined my collection. Around this time the 2nd Ghost in the Shell film had come out, and I was promted to buy the SAC 1st and 2nd gig boxed sets, followed buy the SAC film.
more recently I bought deathnote and bleach first series boxed sets, more out of curiosity than anything else. I enjoyed both of them greatly.
so I ask you, Fast anime regulars, can you recomend anything for my next few purchases.
I have a few critiria: It has to be english dubbed (I know this is considered bad, but I have really really tried to watch subbed anime and I find I cant focus on the story and end up loosing interest) and it has to be reasonably easy to get hold of.
I'm looking for a series more than anything else, but a decent movie would be good too. as it goes I am planning a trip to my local comic book store to pick up bleach series 2.

forgot to mention the 2 appleseed movies.

Hellsing Ultimate has good dubs and is an excellent series.
Edit: And Lagann above is a must-watch. Even if it's mecha, the amount of manliness and awesome makes up for it.

Cromartie High School is a show I haven't watched myself, but by the few clips on youtube I've seen it's really hilarious and it is english dubbed in a hilariously bad in a good way.
Hellsing Ultimate is a show you definitely should get ahold of, one of the only shows that has decent voice acting IMO.
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, it's awful children voices and all on them on the dub, so it's a really bad dub IMO, but the show is great.
School Rumble is a comedy you definitely should watch.
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. I don't think you'll get 1/10th of the awesomeness with it dubbed though. You really should watch it subbed, the story is plain forward, sit down and relax and watch awesomeness unfold. No real story that needs to be followed at all.
Baccano! they even tried to give them accents and shit so they all don't sound the same and fit the faces a bit. Very unique for a dub to be. It's made to be a bit confusing in the start as it doesn't follow a linear path of story telling.
TVtropes description of Lagann:
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is what happens when you ask Studio Gainax to create a Saturday Morning Cartoon.
Lonely orphan Simon lives in an underground village, digging for ancient artifacts and eating pigmoles. His self-appointed big brother, Kamina, is a hot-headed idiot gang leader/delinquent who dreams of going to the "Surface" like his father, despite the village elder's insistence that there's no such thing.
Then Simon discovers a strange drill-shaped key and, later on, a pint-sized mecha that seems to respond to the key.
Taking his brother to see it, they're interrupted by, in turn, the elder, the roof collapsing, a massive bestial robotic head: which Kamina faces off against with just a katana, and Yoko, a woman with a very big gun and very little clothing firing at said beast-mecha — a "Gunmen".
Thus begins a rollercoaster ride of Fanservice, over-the-top fight scenes between mecha, hot-bloodedness, epic sunglasses, massive Badassitude, and mind-blowing heroism. Great fun, and doesn't take itself seriously at all. Don't try reading any science into it, common theory holds that the Universe is actually governed by Rule Of Cool and Rule Of Funny. Also, on Mohs Scale Of Science Fiction Hardness, it ranks as one of the softest.
I think I'm going to look to get Baccano!, Gurren Legann and maybe Hellsing Ultimate.
Can anyone recomend full metal panic?

Full Metal Panic is a good show.
And don't say MAYBE Hellsing Ultimate.
You will watch it.
I finally S'd HikkiDooms difficulty on this map but it's not ranked yet so it's not registered in online scores

I wonder if I'll be able to reproduce the result when the map is actually finished and ranked ._.
Tried to buy Gurren Legann, but they only had the collectors edition volume one (9 episodes) for £54 ($85.4 or 61 Euros), and then volume 2 for £30.
which is a bit much, I think I'll try to find it online cheaper.

Gurren Lagann has 26 episodes, and I recommend buying atleast the first 15 (the first arc) instead of just 9.
bc he is elite japjap and only buys from jap corporations
Hey, I have a Pentax.

yeah, I will buy them all at some point.
My point was the price and the ammount seemed unreasonable to me.

I find that to apply to anything anime related.
