In rts's I'll always try my hardest not to get my footsoldiers killed, I just feel oddly bad when they do :v:.
In most of the games I play I always try to find a way to glitch out of level boundaries. Also, I can be extremely protective of generic friendly NPCs that follow you to the point of nearly getting myself killed over them.
In Portal 2, in the chamber where you first use the white gel (the combustible lemon line plays there) I always try to paint the whole room.
Change to quick weapon change and scroll up/down a lot.
I spent about 5 minutes in Dishonored dragging an unconscious maid and city watch officer into a bed, then I put two cups, one of each of their hands, then dropped two empty bottles of what I assumed contained alcohol on the floor. Then as I walked away to continue the mission, I wondered what their reactions would be when they woke up. :v:
Screenshot please.
If a gun sounds weak I will not use it no matter what the stats for it are
Exactly why I always pick shotguns even if they're only effective in melee range. Especially double barrel ones for maximum thunder. Also why I really don't like using assault rifles or SMGs or even worse pew pew lasers. Silencers are acceptable if the hitsound's juicy enough. I even replaced my TF2 pistol hitsound with the sniper rifle from Crysis 2.
I crouch all the time when I don't have to move like when an npc is talking to me and stuff. I also tend to avoid the floor by climbing on things in these situations.
Swaying my view to the music if it has a heavy beat. Firing in rhythm to a familiar bear like that 'knocking' one everyone knows such as: 'Bang ba-ba-bang bang --- Bang bang' and hoping someone nearby will do the last two shots.
In left4dead2 I have to shoot the cars. I hold my breath during some spellcards in Touhou.
Im GTA4, I was a hitman killing fictional targets. I re-enacted a Reservoir Dogs based chase scene in GTA 4, GTA LCS and Driver: Parallel Lines I hold my breath in the diving passages of MGS 2. Bob Omb Battlefield in Super Mario 64 was a skatepark. Unreal Tournament 2003 was ongoing war between the human race and robots. In GTA 2, I was a trucker, delivering cars by using the cranes on the 2nd level. In Saints Row The Third, I was part of a military team collecting zombie samples. Pilotwings 64 was a driving simulator through the USA. Half-Life was about decorating corpses by shooting them. I never finished Blast Corps because I felt too bad destroying all the houses just to get 100% Sega Rally has just one track and there is no need in driving on any other course than the desert because the music just sucks anywhere else. The only exsitence of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 is to use that shopping cart on alcatraz. The only purpose of my Xbox is to play Outrun 2006 on it and listen to my custom soundtrack. The map editor of Red Alert was great to lock the computer away and build whatever the hell I want. In Prototype I was a solider trying to fight the infection and killing any witnesses.
-snip-
In 2D games with funky music I have to do something to match it, for example in Cave Story I'll shoot my gun to the beat
Draw pictures/words with decals
Pretend to be an NPC.
I like to switch my weapon a lot whilst not in combat.
And then an enemy starts firing at you and you try to knife them from 10 meters away.
Whenever I need to use melee attacks, I normally have to make conant with whatever I'm trying to hit. Think of it like running into the enemy, then melee.
In Fallout 3 I gave every one in big town power armor during the quest that takes place there.
In RPG's, After I have played the game a little and I understand it, I will make a character and try to make him look like the character from the trailers. Even when I max level and could be using the best gear in the game I still wear what ever he was shown wearing, Generally some shitty low level garbage.
In strategy games, I typically just spawn a whole bunch of 1 unit than making them varied, Just like the cheapest infantry, Horseman, Archer, Maybe some siege equipment.
In Red Alert 2 i would always try to win a game of skirmish by only using a small team of navy seals being transported via helicopters.
I hit people with dildos whenever I can.
Another thing I do is when I'm sneaking in a game and then my brother starts talking to me, I make a "Shh..." sound.
If there is a conveyor belt, I must ride it. Even to death.
In an RTS if playing against a bot, I will beat him down into his corner, withdraw and let him build back up a little bit, then beat him down again. It always made me mad when some games' AI surrendered and sold all their stuff when they got below a certain point.
I sometimes RP a news crew when spectating an RTS game. World in Conflict is one I usually do it on.
If a character has a signature weapon or outfit, I will always use it. No exceptions.
In Planetside 2, I find the most secluded, lonely, empty location I can on Esamir, stand still, and sing quietly to myself. Until a Mosquito appears and shoots the shit out of me. [editline]28th May 2013[/editline]
If there is a conveyor belt, I must ride it. Even to death.
Wow, how'd you do playing Portal 2?
If a character has a signature weapon or outfit, I will always use it. No exceptions.
Going through a Kingdom Hearts game using only the Kingdom Key on critical/proud mode feels rewarding.
In open world games I like to steal some cars, make a roadblock, wait for a huge traffic stop and cause a chain reaction of exploding cars. In RTS games I always build tons of defense before training my first unit. In FPS games * Fallout/Elder Scrolls: If there is a pit, waterfall or whatever, I like to dump bodies down them. * Source games: bunnyjump everywhere
If I play a multiplayer game I comment on my gameplay as if I was playing in a tourney.
Jump all the time in any game if I can jump, try to make a normal life in games like GTA, have all the pokémons in my party at the same level all the time, taking all the items I can in any game and store them just in case I might need them later, and in games like Fallout, fuck up all the corpses until they are just a bloody mess.
