Thanks for the protip :v:
I spent the day in London and it was amazing; much better than I ever anticipated. I'm going back the day after tomorrow to finish my Doctor Who around London tour; such as stopping by the Battersea Powerstation to take photos outside; and of course the Who shop.
Go to North London for some nice parks etc, I also live their
I wonder how many Facepunchers I walked by going about London; I literally combed every inch of the city.
Our McDonalds actually tastes amazing
it rains everywhere
People in nike hoodies will stab you but people in normal hoodies are just people because it's constantly cold and windy here
we all have broken teeth
I would so risk an STI for some of the women I've seen :v: I mean goddamn, even the average girls are still extremely attractive.
I thought the exact same thing when I went to Poland. Krakow. I always thought I was really fussy when it comes to women's looks, but it turns out they're all just fuck-ugly here.
I live in Sunderland by the way, just south of Newcastle. Glad you're enjoying yourself mate.
I fucking love Bristol, Im a massive Drum & Bass and general Bass music fan and you just cant beat a night out in Bristol. Except maybe Fabric in London.

Does Bristol still have that old harbour flair I am imagining after reading Treasure Island ?
Also, druge dealers. soo many drug dealers.
This. You don't even have to ask, they ask you. And every shop sells bongs.

Well, we've got a harbour fest if that will suffice?
Does Bristol still have that old harbour flair I am imagining after reading Treasure Island ?
It's nothing like that any more. The floating harbour was built in the Victorian era, so it's more industrial feeling now. A large amount of it's been modernised over the last couple of decades, so there's a load of bars and restaurants in a little cluster near the city centre and apartments, offices, etc. all the way along.

In the days of Treasure Island, Bristol was still a functioning and important port.

Bristol's sort of like those nice, pristine, white-brick cities where there's always hip kids running around in in car adverts. It used to have a Victorian harbor flair to it, but nowadays it's all modern restaurants and shops.
Should'vr come to Winchester, the old capital, home to the biggest gothic cathedral in Europe, and there's Portsmouth if you're into naval history

I wouldn't really say white brick city when a majority of Gloucester Road looks like this
Which isn't a bad thing
If you want raves goes to East London

I've never been to Gloucester Road, just the harbour and the surrounding areas.
I made it up to Newcastle! I went and saw St. James' Park (My brother is a huge NUFC supporter)
Now we're staying in a nice inn/pub out of town. We go up into Edinburgh tomorrow to walk about and see what there is to see.
London was amazing, I absolutely loved it. I wondered where all of the immigrants came from so I took the tube all the way to East Ham station; I could have sworn I was dropped right into a different country. I promptly took the next ride back to King's Cross and passed out on the train back to Huntingdon.
If I ever have the opportunity to live near London I will take it; the place is fantastic, and I could spend weeks roaming about exploring. There's just not enough time for me to really get my fill.
I know this nice little village in the country called Sandford..

It wins the village of the year award every year.
Here's a fun fact, Hot Fuzz was filmed in Glastonbury in Somerset, which is near Bristol. So if you're heading there, go check it out for a bit. Don't expect too much to do though, but it's still worth a look as it's pretty picturesque, and the Tor is actually that very church in the film.

Oh, right. Still, it has a nice view, I guess. Plus they're practically right next to each other.

I feel like a complete idiot now, they're both completely different and one's on a massive hill. Oh well, check them both out anyway.
I went and saw Edinburgh today; it was gorgeous, and I absolutely loved the women there; they're so friendly and loved my awful American accent. :v:
