What peeved my off about the war is that it looked nothing like how it was depicted in the original. The few short clips of the future looks so gritty and dark, I thought in Terminator Salvation everything looked too clean.
Well, that's just the start of the war.
I'm sure(or better yet, I hope) that the next one more closely resembles the grim dark future we've seen in the clips.
Terminator Salvation was a crap shot at what could have or more should have been Terminator 3. The only saving graces were Sam Worthington and Christian Bale..
There were some interesting shots such as the taking of in the helicopter which was enthralling but I think they could've "got to the point" a lot better without inclusions that simply wasted time.
Its like, big action scene, then slow it down, have a dramatic moment then take tips from the originals and carry on.
It was nothing like T3 which was actually a good movie.
well t4 had a pointless arnold cameo thing only cause fans bitched for him
Terminator 3 was pure unadulterated shit.
Salvation was much more watchable than it, considering we finally got to see the war.
Terminator 1 and 2 had clips of the war and Salvation looked nothing like it.
I just bought this on Blu Ray. And on the scalpel scene, you can see that on the side angle that they removed the blade on the X-acto knife.
Awesome film, anyway.
The second opus is definetly the best. I mean in the 1984's movie you got a really bad governator, killing people and cops and stuff like that. T2 was way more funny.

His head looks waxy, almost false in that scene too.
I preferred Salvation to 3 although I know that many will disagree with me. 3 was more of a Terminator film but Salvation was entertaining in a none terminator way.
Terminator 3 was an absolute pile of shit. Seriously, it was really really really bad. There are like no good scenes in it, no good lines, no fucking nothing.
Bad film in its own right, never mind as the sequel to two of the best films ever.
And I thought T2 was better than T1. Both are great though.
His head looks waxy, almost false in that scene too.
Pretty much. But it still was a great scene.

The tune from the club scene, tis' good.
And he's run out of old sci fi stuff to steal from.
Indeed.
Probably the scariest of the films. The idea you're being chased by some unstoppable robot is absolutely terrifying.
The soundtrack is haunting. Nothing nowadays can produce an obvious synthetic sound so obvious in what its trying to convey.
I absolutely loved the first two.
The first has the basic feel of a slasher movie, mixed in with the revolutionary changes to the Sci-Fi genre.
T2 remains one of my favorite films of all time. Considering the person we're talking about, this says a lot.
The third is just unwatchable. It's not even good as an action flick. The story is a huge ret-con and "fuck you" to the first and second's themes, and the action is really sub-par.
The romance between John and whats-her-face wasn't believeable, either.
I have yet to see Salvation, but really, I don't think I want to.
I love first and second movie equally, though the second is a tad better. The third I take to be just action flick that doesn't care about the events of the second movie. Even the main villain there isn't that interesting.
I saw Terminator Salvation and I think it was better movie than the third. Sure, it can't be as good as the first and second one, I wouldn't even try to compare them, but on it's own was decent. I wonder what didn't you like about it?
first and second one were good
rest are shit
Terminator 2 > Terminator > Terminator 3 > Terminator Salvation
I got more of a thrill in the first one. A lot more freakish and horrific compared to the second.
First 2 are amazing, too bad the third was a shitty B-Movie and the fourth was just terrible.
I always wondered if nuked launch by machines killed the world. Where is the radiation?
I disliked Terminator 3 for its "Fuck you lol, the world is gonna explode whatever u do anyway cus u suck" story. I mean, I thought they were supposed to prevent the whole thing in T2 and all. :saddowns:
They don't make films as good as this anymore.
Seriously, what's so bad about Terminator Salvation? I understand the second movie seemed to stop the Judgment Day so when they continued and made it happen it felt cheap. But I think the post-judgment world was captured pretty okay in the fourth film and the story wasn't too stupid. Sure it was less about Terminator but that doesn't make it terrible.
When watching this a long time ago I expected Arnold to be the good guy, and waited for a plot-twist throughout the entire movie.

Its average.
I'd rather watch the trailers.
IMO.
Terminator 1 and 2 are fantastic movies. 2 is just a bit better, but they are both equally amazing.
The 3rd is okay. Had it come out on it's own it would have been good. But because it had a lot to live up to, everyone kind of just discarded it. I still think it's better then what everyone give it credit for though.
Salvation I loved. But that's because I didn't think of it as a terminator film. I thought of it as a new movie that I know the back story of, and I fucking loved it. Great visuals, great action, really compelling. But it's something you just can't compare to the original two.
Since all hate Terminator 3, and all hate Skynet.
