The Terminator is my favourite movie of all times. T-1000 is amazing, but Arnold is more badass as a Terminator.
did you just say T3 was a good movie?
Anything better than Terminator Salvation is a good movie. :smug:

I think it's pretty well stablished that the Terminator films have great soundtracks. T1 & 2 were equally amazing, T3 was boring for the most part but I really liked the ending for some reason: I liked Salvation. Sure you can't compare it to the first two but it was definitely better than T3 and it had a decent plot. Also I liked how Elfman composed a new theme for it, although in my opinion, Bear McCreary's themes for TSCC were better.
I disliked Terminator 3 for its "Fuck you lol, the world is gonna explode whatever u do anyway cus u suck" story. I mean, I thought they were supposed to prevent the whole thing in T2 and all. :saddowns:
Yeah, the second two movies just threw the first two out the window and said "fuck you, this is the REAL story." I mean, they really went in the OPPOSITE direction that the first two took. The first two were all about "no fate" and changing the future. Events actually CHANGED between the first two movies. Then suddenly here comes the third one saying "derp derp, destiny. Nope, can't change anything." I think it's kinda bullshitty when movies support an irrefutable destiny. Sometimes it works as a character's motivation, that they personally believe in destiny, but it's not explicitly indicated whether there's any such thing as a destiny, but T3 straight-up says "DESTINY IS REAL AND YOU CANNOT FIGHT IT." If we're to take this as fact, then all the action of the later two movies is pointless. If John Connor KNOWS he's going to live long enough to send Kyle Reese into the past, then what's his motivation for doing anything? There's no element of danger because we KNOW he's going to live. He could be staring down 50 murderous terminators, but there would be no suspense if he has not yet acted out his destiny.
You guys are just pissed that T3 was cheesy and didn't live up to expectations. Then with your "Fallout 3" warped minds, can't get around that the new one was clearly milking all that the already dying franchise had to offer. I enjoyed it, of course, but think realistically. Its a pile of garbage for a 200million dollar budget.
Terminator never gonna die. Except we delete it. I don't understand T3 at all. I watch it 10 times with my eyes close, never understand. Avatar is better than technologies of skynet.
