I just realized that it's completely over.
I mean like, completely.
None more.
None at all.
We've reached a dead end. They are gone.

fuck, that's pretty sad, I'll kinda miss it.
I cried
Many, many times.
I liked the movie a lot, but...

Just... couldn't help but giggle at Voldemort's delivery of AWFWADA KAWDAWVFRA
I agree, she shouldn't really write anything more about the Harry Potter universe.
Not that I think she will, but still.
she's doing pottermore which'll have new info
I definitely wouldn't mind her writing an book that expands on the universe
That was amazing. I knew it would be good, but that was a million times better than I thought it would. Like someone else said, I actually felt emotion during the film. They know how to create a heavy mood.
the feeling is almost as bad as when I finished the last book, but it's getting worse with every word I write, as I start to understand that there really won't be anymore. I also kind of hope that there won't be anymore, as well. I'm fine with just the memories.
I feel very bad about singling out an element, as a lot of the film was just fantastic, but I was struck hard by Dumbledore in King's Cross station: "Words are our most inexhaustible source of magic". That little sentence is amazing in its own right. It looks like was a nod to JK Rowling and all the people who have read the books, aside from just being an amazing quote.
The epilogue was the part that I liked least, much like in the book . Though, I guess it was sort of needed and even I think that there wasn't much they could have done to improve it. We were being forced to care about these people whom we had never met, I guess at least I could see past that and see it as a nice ending.
While I don't care much for knowing who ends up with who, it felt right to hint at Luna ending up with Neville, unlike what JKR said.
Overall, fantastic movie.
I liked Voldemorts excitement after he [sp]kills harry[/sp] I expected him to do some sort of jig to celebrate it

I literally had to shield my eyes at that part it was so fucking bright after watching mostly dark scenes.
This question is kinda out of the blue, but has anyone played the Order of the Phoenix game? I'm trying to find a open world Hogwarts game where I can go do shit.

First to third HP game were mostly open world IIRC.

I would.
If she'd write another book I'd just feel disappointed.
A few things that made me curious
[sp] Why did Hermione not give over Bellatrix wand if she had it?
Since when did Harry know how to cast an unforgivable curse without practice?
I thought the gold in Bellatrix's vault was supposed to multiply then explode
Did anyone spot Lavander Brown dead?
Did anyone else think Hagrid should of had a bigger part? [/sp]
I wanked to Bellatrix.

[sp]1. The Death Eaters knew she lost her wand at Malfoy Manor, so showing it would be veeeery suspicious.
2. He didn't. He cast expelliarmus(?) and it pushed the killing curse backwards until it hits Voldemort.
3. It multiplies and burns in the book, but in the movie they ditched the burning.
4. Yes.
5. They filmed a scene where he throws some death eaters off a bridge, but they cut it :(.[/sp]

[sp]She was nervous and not thinking straight?
I think the unforgivable curses require a serious intention to cause the effect more than practice
It was supposed to become extremely hot and multiply, but I suppose they simplified it for the movie
Yes, I thought that was an unnecessary addition to the film
Yeah, but you can expect such cuts in film adaptions. Time constraints are bitch aren't they?[/sp]

[sp] He cast Imperio on the goblin at the bank[/sp]
[sp]The entire series is about magic. Harry eventually came into ownership of all items; they were "loyal" to him, like wands. Therefore he was their master, and could conquer death.[/sp]
You know, up until now I wondered how and why [sp]he came back from the dead[/sp]
Now it all makes sense.

I know but the film could of been at least another 30 mins longer, but I suppose if you put part one and two together it's 4 and a half hours long... I guess we will just have to wait for the deleted scenes on the dvd

I wouldn't like another book based around Harry Potter/his friends and stuff, but I wouldn't mind one that explains if there are other wizards outside of Europe or, like you said, expands on the universe she created.
I wanked to Bellatrix.
[sp] I did it too hermione in Bellatrix's clothes [/sp]
I honestly think WB were being bitches again and started forcing them to cut it down, just like they cut OOTP from 3 hours to 2 and something. Fuck you, WB, fuck you.
I've just come back from watching it in 3D. Was definately one of the best films I've seen in ages. Maybe my favourite HP film, will have to watch it again to make sure
It's sad that it's all over now... but that was a brilliant ending
Just my two pennies ;
[sp]That was perfect. Everything was how i imagined it, the scene in Gringotts, in Bellatrix's vault, was LITERALLY how I imagined it in my mind whilst reading. Even when they rid the dragon and landed in the water, and the mine cart, was just as i imagined it. the way Harry's mind connected with Voldemort was again spot on, it wasn't like 2 separate scenes, they were merged - which is how it was in the book.
Room of Requirement - I thought this scene was fucking excellent, the way it was structured, was amazing, and yet again literally how i thought it would play out, whilst reading the books.
The battle of Hogwarts. Fuck me. SPOT ON, im not even kidding, the only peeve I have about the whole ending, is how noone was upset when Harry died, when Lupin and Tonks and Fred died, noone was baw'ing, atleast not for long. The Bellatrix fight was a bit short, but meh, what can you do about that, it stuck true to the book. - Apart from these, everything was perfect.
Forbidden Forest and Limbo - Now i think these scenes were PERFECT. The tension as his parents and Lupin and Sirius stood before him, built like a bitch, it was amazing. Limbo was very well done aswell, i thought it would of been shitty, but it did actually play out well.
Snape's death and Memories - I felt truly sorry for Snape, as he felt fear and emotion for the first time ( that we'd seen) when facing Voldemort. When Nagini was snappng at snape, and killing him, you actually thought in your mind FUCK NO, and thats exactly how the turn of events were meant to happen. The memories scene was probably the best in the whole film, it cleared all of the story up, and showed Snape in his true light, a hero. I know this word is slung around alot, but - Epic.
Voldemorts death - Now everyone was saying this was shit, because it was just like Bellatrix's - fast and shitty, and the way he died was not enough. Now you cant drag a death out for too long, but they done it alright, the way the battle went, how the wand flew up, signified Voldemort was weak, vulnerable, and thats how it was. It stuck true yet again. I would've liked for him to be like, laid out, like a ragdoll, to show that he's truely defeated. But hey, if i remember correctly in the book, his death was fast and shitty, so they done a good job making it better.[/sp]
Just my opinion, feel free to contradict. :3
retoastin'
retoastin'
Why?
Just saw it, I thought it was awesome. Bit disappointed by Bellatrix's death, but oh well.
Why?
For people who didnt see it yesterday

I think they should release extended editions, like lord of the rings, that are like 4 hours long, alot of fans would buy it

They are making these for each film. I think this will be the most complete version you will get. Disappointed to hear there is only around 7 and 18 minutes extra footage for the 1st and 2nd film, not sure about the others.
The opening scene with the dementors, Snape and 'Lily's Theme' was sooooo good
I think this is the movie with the most deviations from the book, heh.
Just saw this yesterday. The entire theater began to clap and cheer when Ron's mom said "Not my daughter, you bitch" to Bellatrix. I thought that was humorous.
Three things, though:
1.) Was I the only one who thought young Snape, in Snape's memories, had the Steve Buscemi eyes going on a little bit?
2.) I can't remember if it was in the book, but who in the hell did Draco hook up with in the epilogue?
3.) Is Hufflepuff even mentioned beyond the first book?! When Harry said "But if you want to, you can still pick Griffyndor" to his kid, I just wanted to shout "PICK HUFFLEPUFF YOU LITTLE PRICK!"
:v:
