Just saw this yesterday. The entire theater began to clap and cheer when Ron's mom said "Not my daughter, you bitch" to Bellatrix. I thought that was humorous. Three things, though: 1.) Was I the only one who thought young Snape, in Snape's memories, had the Steve Buscemi eyes going on a little bit? 2.) I can't remember if it was in the book, but who in the hell did Draco hook up with in the epilogue? 3.) Is Hufflepuff even mentioned beyond the first book?! When Harry said "But if you want to, you can still pick Griffyndor" to his kid, I just wanted to shout "PICK HUFFLEPUFF YOU LITTLE PRICK!" :v:
2. It's Astoria Greengrass.

"Draco malfoy was standing there with his wife and son, a dark coat buttoned up to his troat.... etc " (His wife is not mentioned again, however his son's name is Scorpius. Source: The book, page 605 [Edit]: 3.) I do think hufflepuff get's less attention that the others. It's only major character has got to be Cedric from Goblet of fire I think
One thing still confuses me, though. Where do they learn stuff like math and english, etc? You know, our normal school subjects?
Wizard kids are homeschooled before going to Hogwarts; Ms. Weasley homeschooled all their boys in the general subjects like math, english before they received the letter from Hogwarts. Muggle children are attending a normal school before the letter arrives anyways. As wizards, they have no need to learn the more advanced knowledge you gain in higher classes, a very basic coverage is sufficient most of the time.
Yes, this is understood, but it's not like "OH HEY SNAPE'S ABOUT TO CROAK LET'S TEST THE TRUTH OF THE LEGEND" is a hard thought. Further than that, if you were clever you could create immortality armor with overclothes and an illusion charm. Sounds useful, eh?
But the invisibility cloak of Harry was special, you couldn't cheat death with a simple cloak done by charm or made from hair of whatever those things were called.

I pity wizards. They wouldn't need to know what to do if they had to calculate the mass of an object left on top of a frictionless slope with a 30º angle that had 5 kJ of mechanical energy on top of the slope.

I'm glad he didn't end up marrying Pansy; she always was, and stayed, a huge bitch. Draco himself showed signs of remorse at the end (something I did miss in the movie, by the way), so him marrying Pansy would have been a setback.

Harry survived because [sp]1st off, the killing curse rips the soul from the body, leaving the body unscathed. Now Harrys soul, before dying, consisted of HV (Harry + a piece of Voldemort). When Voldemort "killed" him, he ripped HV from Harry's body and destroyed the "V" part (which in turn destroyed the Horcrux inside Harry AND knocked Voldemort to the ground.) Now, as "H"(Harrys pure soul) floated in limbo, he met the "V" (the Voldemort fetus), which was now disconnected and (for all intents and purposes) destroyed. "H" then faced the choice of either moving on, or inserting himself back into his body. He of course returned, now no longer bonded with Voldemort, and able to kill him.[/sp]
Did anyone else think: [sp] When Harry was talking to Griphook at Shell Cottage he sounded like Cole Phelps? Especially when he said "You're lying" [/sp]

I was wondering [sp] what the fuck that fetus was [/sp] Anyway, [sp] when voldemort was killed i was expecting more of a celebration. [/sp]
I just saw this and it was amazing. A nice end to the series. A few things: 1. The Battle of Hogwarts was kind of underwhelming... I wish they showed more of it. I was expecting duels everwhere and seeing the deaths of [sp] Tonks, Lupin and Fred etc.[/sp] but sadly they didn't do that. 2. Also, where the heck was Crabbe? All I remember is Goyle and that random black dude that went with Draco. And Goyle wasn't even the one to cast the fire spell.
Let's just say he didn't return to the movies since he did so well in his herbology O.W.L.S.
Here's a video of my theater when they opened the doors to let people start lining up. The video didn't come out that great (and doesn't really give justice to what happened). It was on a iPhone and very shaky. People were RUSHING at the door. Some ran across a busy street. They had cops out there with megaphones yelling at people for crossing the road. Once enough people actually got to the door, people were getting mushed and trampled. Cops had to break it apart and threaten to arrest people if they didn't listen. I saw some girl come out of the crowd crying and limping.

the movie was okey, i enjoyed most when I saw the teaser to the dark knight rises. somehow, that's the reason why harry potter broke the box office... i think
yes your right that was exactly it
i know am pro
He got arrested for growing marijuana.
That part made me cry. Wait, i forgot that happened in real life. FUCK
[sp]All of the film was so dark, then Harry went to heaven and it blinded me.[/sp]
Just came out form the cinema. The movie sure was good but as always, the book where better. 7/10

I really hope they don't milk the series with the "New generation of kids." thing. Otherwise it was a fantastic movie, much better then part 1.
JK Rowling says that she might write something to do with Harry Potter again, but it won't be for another 10 years Also
