Probably a good call, I love McKellen as much as the next guy who read and watched LoTR, but I could see that crossing over too easily and diluting the character. I hate to say that because it sounds like i'm insulting Ian McKellen's skills as an actor, which i'm not, but the personalities and the demeanor of both of the characters could be easily mixed and it would be very odd.
The soundtrack for this movie is absolutely brilliant. Every film has a fantastic soundtrack really.
IT FINALLY MADE $1,000,000,000 and with it's release in China next weekend it's to take place of the 3rd highest grossing movie of all time
I stopped reading at the third or second book, who was the chick with purple hair?

I love Voldemort's laugh.
I didn't like that scene, infact any time a Death Eater does a stereotypical evil cackle, I just cringe.
I didn't like that scene, infact any time a Death Eater does a stereotypical evil cackle, I just cringe.
I was waiting for Voldemort to say YOU KNOW, WE'RE NOT SO DIFFERENT, YOU AND I
I wish there was more Weasley family duels in this one

Oh man if they did the game well it'd be fucking cool.
I think Neville's speech was a bit cringey, and didn't add any effect, i would of much preferred him getting tortured - like in the book
Am I the only one who thinks that the part where [sp]you see them all in 19 years[/sp]was ridiculous? I mean,[sp]even with the makeup and all, they still look much younger than they are supposed to look like[/sp]...
