when will it be active? for everyone? also whats it even about
"Pottermore is a website by J. K. Rowling, developed by TH_NK and sponsored by Sony. The website will sell e-book and audiobook versions of the seven Harry Potter novels, as well as provide over 18,000 words of additional content including background details and settings. The website launched on 31 July 2011 (the birthday of Rowling and of the character Harry Potter) for the first one million fans to complete their registration on the website through "The Magical Quill" challenge, and on 1 October 2011 for everyone else." "Users will be able to participate in interactive reading experiences or "moments" beginning with the first book Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. After choosing a username, the users will move through the chapters and "follow" Harry. Among other things, users will be able to visit Diagon Alley, be sorted into houses, and learn spells. How this is translated onto the website is still unknown."
Ah right, mint, thanks.
Does Pottermore invite everyone who signed in, or it selects people for beta? I have signed up, but didn't Get any email.
You will be selected randomly, I believe, unless you answer the magic quill thing right. If you do, you'll get chosen directly, receive a email that says you have been accepted to join the beta and if you are lucky, you will the same day get a welcome email. If not, you have to actually wait WEEKS to get a welcome email.
Some people got the e-mail on Monday. I haven't yet either.
I've actually been in the beta for awhile now. I think it's been pretty cool so far; the artwork is really awesome. I hesitate to reveal very much of anything, though. It is definitely very much a work in progress, obviously. Though, as I look at the numbers now, I will say 22,318 people are in the beta right now.
saw DH p2 epilogue scene was awful movie was meh at best, i would have preferred yates stuck to the book more like they did with the first oen.
- Some more shots of the Carrows at Hogwarts. - Death Eaters at Gringotts after the dragon escape (probably explained how the goblins ended up in Malfoy Manor). - More shots of Death Eaters in Hogsmeade. - Percy showing up at Hogwarts, walks up behind the Weasley twins and they nod at him. - Slyhterin students breaking out of the dungeons, running over Filch. - Some more shots of the Hogwarts protection being destroyed by Voldemort. - Snatchers running through the forbidden forest on their way to Hogwarts. - Neville carrying a dead boy. - More Voldemort speech, Ron yelling. - Big battle between students/teachers and Death Eaters. - Hagrid throwing Death Eaters off a bridge. - McGonagall stunning a Death Eater in the Great Hall. - Oliver Wood dueling in the Great Hall. - Bellatrix taunting Mrs.Weasley. - Harry setting fire to Voldemort's robes. - Voldemort asking Harry why he lives, and Harry responds with "Because I have something worth living for", as shown in the trailers. - Two more shots of Harry and Voldemort during the final duel. - Flitwick fighting Nagini. - People walking out of the great hall to look at Harry after he defeats Voldemort. - Teddy Lupin cut from epilogue. - Station guard from PS and CoS cut from epilogue. - Conversation between Harry and his daughter.
Fuck off, WB. You cunts...

I've been thinking about getting the box with all the Harry Potter movies, but there are two of them. http://www.discshop.se/filmer/bluray/harry_potter_1_7_blu_ray_limited_giftset/P94141 First we have this one which comes with a book that I couldn't care less about. http://www.discshop.se/filmer/bluray/harry_potter_1_7_giftset_blu_ray/P94469 And then there is this one. Do you have an idea if one of them has more extras than the other?

Anyone noticed how there was a sitload of stuff, not just in this one, but in all the Harry Potter movies that doesn't make sense unless you've read the book. I don't think anyone mentioned Tonk and Lupins son until the very end, and then spoke about him as if everyone was meant to know who he was. And no one mentioned Fleur and Bill's wedding at all until Ron is like "We've got the wedding tomorrow" just out of no where. Didn't bother me, but I'm sure there was some people who were pretty damn confused by some of this stuff.
Should have made it Lupin and Tonk's wedding.
