To all disagreeing, they're screening it at my local cinema tomorrow.
23:59
aww, I thought my local had the earliest screening of 0:01 the next day
Which one is more popular? Sorry for being a pain in the ass but I'm really having trouble deciding..
What do you mean popular?
The 3D version is shit, the 2D one is good, that's all you need to know.
To all the people that are saying that the story and themes are the same: You know that there are only a finite amount of events in a story, right? There has never been a completely original story in the history of literature or cinematography. It's not that hard to figure out, I realised when I was 12. Look it up, Vladmir Propp's 31 Functions.
Anyways, seeing this tonight at midnight. It's going to be awesome, dressing up as Sirius.
Why the dumb rating on the video I posted? I thought it was interesting :smith:
CHapter 2 of The Battle of Hogwarts just came out

AWESOME! I've dressed up as a few characters before, can you post some pictures of your costume? I'd love to see it!
Tomorrow. :ohdear:
Most of my friends are about 55 minutes of the way through it. It's a midnight screening. And being on Australian time, we see it before most of the world :v:
I'm seeing it today at 10:30 AM and can't fucking wait!
My friend saw it today somehow, he said it's amazingly epic. Considering he hated Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows Part 1, it must be pretty good
Dad bought tickets for him, me and my mom.
We are gonna see it tomorrow.
I for one am burnt out on Harry Potter. I thought Deathly Hallows wasn't very entertaining, not nearly as awesome as any of the first 4.
The "magic" for me has been gone for a few movies and the blue colored post processing is so dark now you can barely even see the movie anymore. I'll give it a watch, but on DVD.
Seeing it in a couple of hours.
I'll probably see it within the next few days.
I usually watch it like 1-2 weeks after the release, when all the insane fanboys/girls are gone.
Last time i went to a Harry Potter premiere when I was leaving i discussed some stuff we thought should've been in it and how much better it would be.
We pretty much got two people yelling after us how we're retarded and that the Harry Potter movies are flawless.
I would get some Gryffindor Robes for the premiere, if they weren't $100. :smith:
Just got back. Good film. Enough action, but I don't like how [sp]they cut every fucking action scene involving Hagrid :([/sp]
I just got back from the premiere, not sure if this was done anywhere else but they showed Part 1 right before it too, so as expected I really needed to fucking piss halfway Part 2. Despite that, I really enjoyed Part 2, especially the scale it introduced that wasn't really in any of the other films. The only two complaints I really have is the high body count (but then, that was in the book too - not really the movie's fault) and the fact that the "19 years later" text was in a [sp]SANS SERIF FONT HRRRNG[/sp] I know, not a major issue but it just felt kinda awkward in my opinion.
TDKR teaser. Yes? No?

For a moment I read that as COMIC SANS FONT
That would be incredibly out of place.

Those 2 rotten reviews are absolutely terrible
Whew, saw it last night. The atmosphere was amazing! This guy dressed up as Dobby, it was pretty terrifying. He had a knife in his chest and everything. Being Sirius Black, I dueled my girlfriend's brother in law's sister (geez, connections), since she was Bellatrix. We didn't have a Molly Weasley around to kill her, unfortunately. The movie itself was fucking brilliant. Only one thing I didn't like [sp]Voldemort hiding in the boathouse, instead of the shrieking shack.[/sp] It didn't make much of a difference, but the fanboy part of me loves returns to previously visited places.
And of course, the entire cinema cheered when Molly Weasley said that one line. You know what I'm talking about. ;)

I'm glad to know they kept that in
Just saw it. It was pretty good. Best in the series. They changed a hell of a lot from the book though. I
also liked how [sp]Neville had a much bigger role. He was a pretty cool dude in the end.[/sp]
He was always a pretty cool dude imo.
My childhood is complete.

I pulled a when people clapped at that part and also throughout the entire movie.
