I got totally trounced by a sportbiker today. That's hardly a surprise, but we were on a reeeeally windy stretch of mountain road I'm very familiar with, going downhill at 10/10ths. Had no idea bikes could switch directions that quickly. Incredibly skilled rider. I led for a bit then let him by and he dusted me.
I'm pretty sure what you're looking for is a log book and/or MOT record, they're the only things you really get when your car is on the road [editline]21st June 2015[/editline] Logbooks are just a single coloured paper document and MOT certs are also just single sheets but black and white. You can view a cars MOT record online for free anyway [editline]21st June 2015[/editline] I don't know what additional documents, if any you get for an imported car [editline]21st June 2015[/editline] You should have a couple of tax discs also [editline]21st June 2015[/editline] All a log book really does though is a sign of ownership
Well I do have a couple of MOT certificates in the paperbunch. The problem is though, I called the DVLA and they told me that they can't send me a new registration certificate because I don't live in the UK. I don't have the license plates for the car, but the papers says what the license plates said.
so my e30 is back in my town... same old 3.5 liter m30 in it. Lot quieter though, supposedly it's been fixed up quite a bit. Seen it around a couple times, didn't think it was it though because it was too clean and quiet. brb hunting it down.
It is with great sadness that I must anounce I no longer have the fastest car at my office. A co-worker, who crashed his 2002 Mustang GT, bought a 2014 Shelby GT 500. I am currently mourning the loss of my title...
Just searched through my old photobucket account, and I found this photo of my Civic jumping a GT-R :v:

I mean it's obvious they won't register a car on UK plates when the car won't be used by a UK resident

Or he needs proof that it has been accepted into the EU and meets their requirements.
Did anyone watch BattleBots on ABC tonight? I used to love that back in 6th grade.. 2002, 2003 area. Now it's back.. so jacked about it. Not really car related I guess, but meh.
I haven't watched it yet, but I heard it was back because they were doing the show again when they did filming for it on Mare Island, which is about 5 minutes away from me. No one wanted to go with me and tickets were only $25.00 so I stayed home...
I want a 2001 Prelude [editline]22nd June 2015[/editline] No one in New Jersey is selling a 2001 Prelude :(

They did all the interviews live instead of taping them later, so you were mostly watching people talk. http://www.reddit.com/r/battlebots/comments/36toy1/at_the_battlebots_taping_right_now_210_would_not/ On the bright side the actual show seems to have exceeded expectations and been more about robots fighting each other than reality TV bullshit.
I drove 3 hours to PA then ran something over that put a hole in my tire and I unknowingly blasted up and down a mountain road (up one side down the other i mean) on a slowly leaking tire, then just as i got to my friends house my powersteering felt dead and I stuck my head out the window to see my brand new tire with less than 400 miles on it being stone flat. Cool shit man, now I want to get a warranty replacement since I ran on it flat for who knows how long, and now it has a plug in it.
Tire Plugs are the best shit since sliced bread
there's a YouTube video somewhere of some guys had a sidewall puncture, and they put six of those motherfuckers in there and they got home with it.
Who's going to the Pikes Peak Hill Climb this weekend? I've been wanting to do it for years, and now I finally get to! Kinda pathetic that it took me so long, since I live in Denver...
Tire Plugs are the best shit since sliced bread
We didn't learn how to plug tires in auto tech, they're apparently not allowed to teach it anymore as a valid fix.
tire plugs are kind of a shitty fix, they only fix the outside. patches likewise only fix the inside. Plugs are a good way to get a leak a month later and with patches you run the risk of having your belt rust. they make plug patch combos now that do a much better job. yeah they cost more than the $4 patch kit that slime makes but if you've got a new tire that you just paid $150 for it's worth it of course a used tire is only about $40 including a mount and balance so just get one of those if your tire was at the end of life anyway
So the got called into the apartment managers office today. They got the guy who broke into my car on tape all 15 angles of high def as he wanders around the garage rummaging through peoples cars even fucking stupid enough to look directly into the camera and flip it off.

I've got a plugged tire on my current car that I've been driving on for around a year and it doesn't leak a bit. tire plugs are GOAT

Thinking of trading my 07 4runner in for something cheaper sportier and more economical also could really use any cash back on the trade towards the downpayment on a house. [editline]22nd June 2015[/editline] Any suggestions my previous car was an 02 Ford Focus worth 500$.
Miata? Civic? Motorcycle?
My 240sx been on the jack stands for three weeks now can't wan't to finish this and drive her. Obligatory shitty phone quality photo.
We picked up the Supra and drove it to the workshop yesterday. We also tried to fit on the Cosmis rims, but they're too wide with that ET, and the Supra has stock suspension so it looks way out of place.
