months more like. I pedal just enough to bump start the thing and then never touch them again
That's a great shade of blue, Serj. Looks period.
Serj that looks sweet!
God I gotta try this on my car, I've got nothing to loose
Looks awesome Serj
I agree. I love light blue on cars, and that's pretty much nailed as a classic-yet-modern shade.
Now you've got me thinking about getting my car painted.. thanks...
Nowhere indoors to let it dry? At the very best, some dust must have settled in the paint.
Oh, also, I haven't posted my car in forever like a lot of us. Took a snap at the beach with my new camera. Ignore the brake dust on the fronts; had new rotors put on and never bothered getting a car wash since I knew it was going to pour ass rain that week and it'd get filthy on the drive down.

Any adapters I can buy to fit a 6 1/2in speaker into my 93 Miata?
Everything I found previously said 6 1/2s would "DROP RIGHT IN!!!" when it's actually 6 3/4s that fit.
And I can't just drill into the door, because the mounting holes for my speakers and halfway into the hole for the old speaker.

Anyone know if this will work?
my previous owner wrapped wire around a screw through the factory hole, then made another loop in the wire to screw the speaker into

what the fuck. Some people have no respect for electricity. Shit is dangerous.

Not too worried about that and nowhere indoors to put it. Here, put it in this perspective - which is better:

Also I'm calling this color "Impact Oceanography": all rights reserved, copyright llc, patent pending, trademark.
a stray piece of copper wire, not the actual wire for the speaker.

I'm too lazy to fix this lack of quote post
should i get a cup holder for my E30 agree/disagree

It's $20
$20 for some belt metal welded to a plate, you can do that in 20 mins
I never bent metal before, I guess I could
Can't you just bend a metalwire or a coathanger? Cups ain't that heavy.
Had a dangerously close call today with my squad car overheating. It was one tick away from maxing out. It just couldnt take the 2 hours of idling in the 80+ degree weather
I've legitimately never seen a vehicle go above half-way on the oil temp gauge. Granted, I've also never had a car with the coolant gauge on the dash, so I wouldn't know on that part of the engine.
Got a new side mirror for my Toyota for 100$ off ebay, broke my current one trying to parallel park.In my defense that pole had no business being so close to the curb.

what car? Im pretty sure crown vics can idle for days straight while parked in death valley.
He could have been low on coolant I know my toyota will be fine as long as its moving if its low but it will over heat at idle.
It was a Canyon. Coolant was fine. It was just the hot pavement + parked in sun + running a ton of equipment.
Cooled off quickly once I started moving.

You know what I drive. It's on the page before this! It never even gets all the way to center on the oil temp gauge, which I know is a lie, but I gave up on caring a long while ago.

Granted, I don't sit and wait at a speed trap for hours while I sip coffee, so I don't generally have my car idle for more than a few minutes at a light, admittedly, but I've sat in multiple vehicles for about half an hour to an hour at idle and never see the temp gauges go over.
Almost got the supra to start. I did some extensive logging, crank and cams signals are fine and timed properly. I modified the power and ground of my igniter, they are both solid. I'm getting sparks (timed sparks). The engines run on brake cleaner, I have fuel pressure and my injectors connectors have 12V and signal continuity.
I have to modify the stupid plastic connector to have a solid connection to the injectors. I'll work on that tomorrow. More testing required
We had a car in the shop whose engine would start, idle and run on brake cleaner but refused to work on gas

Sounds like they just grabbed some left over wire and didn't hook it up to any power.
