A lot of older cars in the US had big ugle bumpers though. Also update: The miata I was autocrossing yesterday in just had a complete electrical failure, rip
I love Euro cars with ugly US bumpers. So stupid.
Also, why did the American E12 have big ass ugly bumper
5mph safety bumpers required by law for about two decades starting the 1970s. Most foreign makers made some lazy redesigns to make the cars road legal, ruining the lines of the car.
I'm gonna take a wild guess and say you melted through your paint
Thankfully no, not even close. It just came out looking terrible. Can be fixed, just by someone else. But Im not sure I can afford it for a while
Probably because its illegal to have your exhaust extend past your bumper, just like the friendly cop told him.
illegal never stopped me [editline]29th June 2015[/editline] http://gulfport.craigslist.org/cto/5098364413.html oh my god that is an incredible deal under $10,000 for an excellent condition tri-five is like finding a unicorn

The volvo VESC is a quite cool conceptcar. Another thing I love are early 242 with American lights.
Seems like the perfect tailgating car to me. Nice, large bench to sit on.
It needs a table on the trunk lid.
Anyone here into r/c planes?
No planes, but I have a few helicopters in the $2-500 range, none of which fly anymore, even the ones that have only been lightly abused. I quickly got out of that hobby, too expensive and too fragile. The only one that still kinda flies is the $200 Blade CX2. The others either won't even get off the ground with a full charge or are completely uncontrollable once airborne even though the flight controls respond on the ground.
Anyone here into r/c planes?
Paging DP [editline]29th June 2015[/editline] Tried to be productive today on my day off. Nope. [t]http://i.imgur.com/2HwT4eL.jpg[/t] Snapped a bolt somehow. Thankfully my neighbor has an identical mower that I can use [t]http://i.imgur.com/o0x2VfG.jpg[/t]
My dad used to have a nitro rc Piper cub until he let his friend fly it and it got nosedived into the dirt. I've always thought it would be cool to get him another for Christmas, and I was looking around, and it looks like small nitro planes can be gotten for $100-$200.
Probably because its illegal to have your exhaust extend past your bumper, just like the friendly cop told him.
Bingo bingo. I'm dumb but I'm not stupid.
I know repainting is something you think about when your car is actually done but I was wondering what paint scheme you guys suggest for a E12. I was thinking about matte black, I know its not really original but it seemed nice. But I don't think it will fit a nearly 40 year old car Also, why did the American E12 have big ass ugly bumper
Please for the love of god never paint a car matte black, there's a million other colors on the spray paint aisle which don't look like utter shit. White will always look acceptable from 5+ feet at any time even.

Matte Black is the Darude Sandstorm of paint colors .
matte black just happens to be the cheapest color
Last time I checked, every can of the same brand and type of paint was the same price at walmart. Matte Black is not cheaper nor do you get more in a can, when people paint a car matte black they usually do it because they think it will look "sick as fuck". People expect matte black to look like this. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5601782/DSC_4146.jpg[/t] Except when you paint it with rattle cans it's gonna look like this. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5601782/rattle.jpg[/t] Don't paint cars matte black, matte black is far from the cheapest color and by far one of the hardest colors to not look like the latter picture. Unless you have a properly mixed paint with flattener in it, it's gonna look like absolute shit. [editline]29th June 2015[/editline] Plastidip is also nice because you can get that flat black look easily, that's a far better idea if you really want that color.
matte black is about 95 cents a can
Great, the cheap chinese plastic throttle on my motorized bike broke, I opened it up and it looked like someone smashed it with a sledge hammer. I'm buying a bunch of stainless steel racing parts for this bike even if it costs me two grand, I've had it with cheap shit.

Jeez, all last 2 weeks have been slow as balls averaging 2 cars each week totaling 4. Today there was 6 back to back. Equinox, Bonneville, Protege S, 2015 Tarus (non SHO), Merc Grand Marque and the Boss's Mini again. And it fucking rained hell all of a sudden for 5 minutes then stopped outright, at least it cooled the day down for awhile. The Equinox has a locked up engine and is gonna possibly get a new one if the lady wants it. Reason the engine is toast is because she took it to Tire Kingdom for an oil change, but never got any oil. She drove 6 miles before it started having an issue, then got it towed back to TK not knowing what was going on, they quietly and secretly put oil in it then let her leave again telling her nothing. Then the engine locked up. How do you fuck up that badly? And more so, how do you not get fucking shit canned right off the top for something like that?

Look in the classifieds. Personally abandon ship on nitro, you have two sizes. Small Electrics and GASOLINE
