Some random dude told me he wanted to steal my car (Beetle) because it was so nice. He seemed a bit "mentally challenged" so idk if I should take it as a compliment or just never let him near the car again :| [editline]30th June 2015[/editline] That's just not a good way of saying that someone's car is nice, is it?
I work for a living to fix and fly mine. Whats the difference? I just bought a 7x16' enclosed trailer to house all my planes and travel in, have all 50+ cc planes. Except for electrics that I mainly rent out to people to fly. [editline]ijghfnh[/editline] I normally don't like being this way, but being a guy that works at a hobby ship just makes you a entitled shit. FFS all I know he might work at a Hobby Town. uguhuguhguhuguh But everytime I've been to a "big box store" the young people behind the counter know NOTHING about a airplane and try to sale you a fucking cub even tho your expertise level can take that cub with only a rudder and elevators and fly it upside down and fly around like that. I don't get aggravated very easy and Im just gonna drop it here, I enjoy what I do and how I do it. Might it be 3D to just plain ol' full scale flying with 150cc monsters...
Are you alright? This hobby has been my life, and I've been coached on shit by many of the big name companies, including hobbico, horizon, and traxxas. There isn't much going on in the hobby that I don't know about, and i've fixed/flown/driven 90% of the shit out there, including monster gassers and giant scales. I can't afford most of it so my collection is small. Doubly so now that I quit because my female boss was treating me like utter shit.
Bombard her house with flaming poo bags dropped from quadrotors
And have flying drones spectate and record the entire spectacle
I could never afford quads either :v: Quads are the fastest growing part, it's fucking ridiculous. Every month something new comes out.
Drop the poo bags from a Lancaster model, record it, do a voice over with British accent and keep talking about giving the jerries a right good whalloping eh guvnah?
If you have a car, I don't see how you could also have the money for a hobby....
Not everyone have cars as their hobby. Speaking of cars, my car's inspection runs out today, and my mechanic doesn't have time untill next week to even look at it. Just gotta hope the weather stays good so I won't get too wet riding my bike.
I actually have a couple videos up on youtube of me working at it. Just a small series of me struggling. I had a long gopro video of rolling the entire car then when I plugged it into thr computer a big popup came up that said "deleting pictures on sd card" and unplugged it. So all o have is a 2 second clip of the car unpainted from that. I dont narrarate because I hate listening to my voice on recording. Its annoying to me so it has to be annoying to everyone else.
If you have a car, I don't see how you could also have the money for a hobby....
I have a car and a motorcycle. I also balanced guns and computers on top of my rc's. I made pretty damn good money at a hobbyshop :v: Now I gotta search for a new job.
We need to fix our joke detector. It appears to be malfunctioning....
I saw a car at walmart with a shitton of stickers. People at walmart are one thing, but their cars are a whole nother league. [t]https://scontent-dfw1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpt1/t31.0-8/10604465_841998495855882_4302582009084016256_o.jpg[/t]

At least they're tourism stickers and not political stickers.
At least they're tourism stickers and not political stickers.
I dunno what to make of the swastika looking one but either way, I showed my friend and he asked if he drove his car all the way to Australia, Russia, etc. in his car and it's silly.
Pretty sure thats a Hindu/Buddhist sign, not a swastika. Theyre walking the line with stickers on the rear window.
Please for the love of god never paint a car matte black, there's a million other colors on the spray paint aisle which don't look like utter shit. White will always look acceptable from 5+ feet at any time even.
Like I'm going to spray paint my entire car my self with some cheap ass paint :v: I know someone who paints Motercycles for a living so I was going to ask him ( he already did a fine job on my bike ), and if he can't do it I can always go to the next in line. I want my car to look nice and not look like shit with cheap spray paint
Pretty sure thats a Hindu/Buddhist sign, not a swastika. Theyre walking the line with stickers on the rear window.
A swastika is a swastika. The hindu/buddist symbol is still a swastika. It's just that the word swastika is so commonly recognized as the nazi symbol. The symbol itself is called swastika wether it's nazi or hindu
If you have a car, I don't see how you could also have the money for a hobby....
I've got too many hobbies. Cars Guns Computers Photography and then I want to get back into flying, too! RIP my conceivable future wealth.
I've got more cars that don't run than cars that do
I've got a cheap manly car. Those aren't scratches, they're character marks.
that isn't an oil leak, it's a sign of its character and personality
yeah I park over cardboard, what of it?
I've got more guns than I can count, and at least one canon.

My fiancee wet sanded both rear quarters, and when I came home I polished them both. Both of those were significantly easier than the hood. Maybe it's because the hood is in direct light so more imperfections show up. You can kind of see where the non polished door is a denser, rougher color. Tomorrow we'll wet sand and polish the doors, then the next day the front fenders, and so on. Before I did that though, I finished drawing out and printing the custom "Hang 10" stripe. I think it looks pretty freaking badass. We're going for a beach cruiser vibe. The color kind of forces it to be, and it will look sweet. The stripe goes on each panel after it gets polished so there is no chance for dirt to get on the car before the stripe, and let me tell you, after you smooth it out and apply vinyl, it sticks so easily. Right now for today just the rear quarter of the stripe is on, but that will be the coolest part. The rest of it is just the twin stripes, and it might have a small wave in the front, but probably not. There's a few little imperfections and high spots in the paint, but overall, I can't spend several hours and days trying to fix it or it defeats the purpose of it being a cheap paint job.
That's a good style, most def like it.
Jesus I leave and everything back home goes to shit. Apparently the passenger side lower ball joint on my grandpa's lincoln catastrophically failed pulled the ball joint stud out of the body dropped the lower control arm to the ground and basically acted like an anchor for a car doing 30 the lower control arm is torn to shit and the leading edge has some nasty scrapes/areas where the metal rolled in on itself. The steering knuckle/wheel damn near came completely off the stud on the upper ball joint is bent to shit and the tie rod is mangled. Did I mention this happened in the middle of one of the busiest intersections in town? I called my buddy he brought his flat bed out and said he was damn surprised the car didn't eat the curb or a semi
Took some pictures a while back of the Civic, the 80 mile loop on this drive of forestry roads and backroads finished off the right rear trailing arm bushing completely. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5601782/EF%20Pics/IMG_20150603_151950.jpg[/t][t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5601782/EF%20Pics/IMG_20150603_152107.jpg[/t] I had new trailing arm bushings put in it though finally, I should get a chance to drive it today and see how bad the alignment is after the shop completely disassembled all of the rear suspension and drum brakes and it was eyeballed back in place to where it came out of. My girlfriend who's been driving it says it feels like crazy better, gotta get it aligned and beat the crap out of it! Now I just need to toss some more bushings in, front/rear upper control arms and that chassis is totally set short of wheel bearings. I'm pretty sure I finally just passed the overall $2,000 out of pocket on this car since the labor wasn't cheap, so much for a cheap budget car but I have no plans of ever getting rid of it now.
I love clean simple hondas.
