Oh you lucky SOB! I wouldn't worry toooo much about the torque. In the land of working on cars I torque things that can warp or break; intake manifolds, heads, clutch, etc and also things that are frequently taken apart; lug nutz and things that are damaged if not loaded properly; yoke retention nut, axle nut, etc. Almost everything else gets tightened to a spec of pretty tight, tight, really tight, herculian tight. That stuff is the less intricate stuff; brackets, alternator, strut bolts, caliper bolts, etc. Yes everything has a torque spec.. no I don't fux with it. The bolts that hold the balljoint to control arm on GM vehicles I torque to 'really tight' generally

Any G35 owners here?
Bought new wheels! They're Nismo LMGT2's and I got them for a bargain plus free newish tires. I still have to mess with the front a little because I'm rubbing the fender liner and it rubs against the spats (hence its removed in the picture haha) I'll take a better picture this weekend, stance nation is having a big event in Nagasaki so I'll be sure to post pictures of that as well.
trying to explain to my brother how to fix my grandpa's Lincoln over the phone when I've only seen pictures of the damage is difficult at best I ended up resorting to crude paint drawings/diagrams at one point
Video chat makes remote support much easier
would of done that but he ran over his phone with a pallet jack a few days back so he's rocking the old school flip phone for a bit

I wanted to remove the door lock module but theres a stripped screw. How do you remove a stripped screw ? The Screw looks like this: The end is completly round. I tried chiseling it out but its stuck very good I also tried the rubber band method... nothing works I was stuck with this screw for 2hrs and then i gave up
mine are not pressed in. They were riveted, but it appears to have been replaced once before. They are held in with bolts now. Thank god. The only thing I'm worried about is I dont have access to a torque wrench so I might have to do some talking with a neighbor... or just tighten them at best I can and call it good.
In my memories you had a blazer. When balljoints are due on a blazer, specially the upper one, the control arm tend to snap in half at some point if you ever go on rougher roads/off road. Otherwise, for your bolts, tight is tight, tighten the middle one first then the side ones.
How do you disable airbags..?
Police package has a box underneath the glove box that you use a key to turn them off. :v: I imagine you can pull the fuse for the airbags, but it'll probably get pissy about that.

The other method like mentioned already is to notch it. You can also hammer a flat head screwdriver into it to.make a notch. The only other thing would be an extractor or vice grip.
interesting. In my mind that seems really ineffective but clearly it works if every punk ass mower/gokart/pressure washer/whatever uses it.
My neighbor has a dirt gokart track in his back yard for the lols along with 6? gokarts I think, I also have one, but on one of the tractor supply engines the dipper stick broke off and it still ran fine for a LONG time, like 1000+ laps(2 years) until it started to flatten off and shit from excessive ring wear. Another time I broke a rod in one of those motors, that was fun haha. 200$ gokart motors that you can get many many years out of are a sweet deal.

harbor freight has a 670cc v-twin for around $700 that I'd love to put 14 pounds of boost through and stick that in a mini bike or maybe a lawn tractor

I'll see if I can get a photo of the bad one
So this morning, I hit myself in the head with a 22mm wrench whilst putting a new rack in a Toyota Matrix. It bled. alot. Didn't notice till a nice sized stream of blood was running down my face. Was tightening up a bolt and something caught my attention so I looked left, then the wrench slipped off the bolt. In hind sight, I shouldn't have been pulling on the wrench and rather pushing however had I not looked left, it would have been one of my eyes or the bridge of my nose that has a gash in it. It's been dead for 3 weeks at the shop now and only today was there a ton of cars and trucks and shit and let me fucking tell you, alignments may not be hard in concept, but I'll be fucked if 2 out of 3 cars today have fucking crooked steering wheels because the machine is a piece of shit. The Cliff Notes: Lock steering wheel straight Adjust tie rods and bounce car a few times or after each adjustment. Tighten. Car pulls to the right and/or wheel is slightly to the left/right. Excuse me fucking what? / Rant Also, don't ever get those tall blue cans of freon with the screw on gauge, it doesn't read right. Over filled my A/C yesterday thinking it was at the right level and while heading home today the compressor started throwing a fit. Bled it, put a can of PAG46 Charge in it along with some other stuff. No issues.

After almost a month straight of on and off rain showers, we're going to have a few nice and sunny days. So I promptly gave the ride a nice wash and wax job:
