If not: Charger
If so: Charger and e-150.
Finally changed the clutch on the family Honda. My dad was pulling it out and was saying, "I hope the clutch really is the problem."
Umm. Yup. I think it is.

Reflection of the trees. We do this shit outside cause we fly. Or too poor to afford a garage. Probably the latter.
150 mph is nothing to my dad's 550i. Schooled a brand new Mustang GT that was showing off on the highway on the way home from fireworks.
Hope everyone enjoyed their 4th. I handed out a lot of tix today for people being stupid with their vehicles

Heh.
I thought it was funny too :v: I should note this was four-lane black top, desert road. Nobody else was out there.
unrelated to the top post... haha just coincidental. None of the tix were for speed
I made some progress today on my Car PC.
The LCD is finally moved out of the shitty cupholder mount and onto the dash since I finished the bracket to fit above the radio in the double din mount. I also made a little bracket out of ABS plastic sheet to hold the USB extender for the Flirc dongle, which lets me control the PC using the crappy universal IR steering wheel remote that's ziptied to my wheel.

I finished the hardware for the center console controller:

A short video of how it works is here:

It's not installed yet, I'll have to take out the center console to run the USB cable. After that's in, I'll be pretty much finished with the hardware side of things. I have to tweak the WiFi antennas on the PC because the data rate sucks ass at the moment, but that's about it.
Software wise, I still have to finish the phone integration. I'm still equally as awful at C# / WPF as when I started it months ago, so that's going to go slowly.
I learned a valuable lesson today. I'm used to always being the driver whenever friends and I go places. I never drink, have a car that can seat 3 others, and enjoy the driving. It's nice, leaves you in control, and everyone is at your whim.
Tonight I rode to a nearby town for their festival with my 2 roommates. I didn't drive. Big mistake. We go to their friends' house and I knew no one there. About 10 minutes in I found out this crapshow festival wasn't going to have fireworks. That's the only reason I like the 4th of July.
So I wasted the whole night hanging out with a bunch of people I didn't know and didn't share any interests with.
Always, always drive.
mind me asking what you paid? I have a pair coming from japan right now
I bought them for $400, but that was from a friend I work with.
I went to the local Upgarage (which is like a used parts store in japan) yesterday and found out the hard way the rears are rubbing the fender as well, should just have to raise the rear suspension a little to fix that problem.
I really wish the tires I got were just a little smaller... I might have to get replacements sometime soon.

wow dude thats nuts, there is a set on zilvia for $1250 identical to yours but with no tires. and I paid $350 for my pair, but they came with tires and shipped to my door in usa.
I really wanna sell everything and move to japan
I spent the 4th driving an american car, specifically this one:

2013 Model S 85KWh with 385HP. I was just driving around the hotel when my friend's dad stopped me and asked me if I wanted to drive him and a friend to a town an hour away. "Sure" Had to take it cool on the way up to make sure we had enough range to get home, but on the way home he let me really get on it, and holy shit the acceleration is just insane. The interior is also the nicest and simplest I've ever seen. Three stalks, two buttons and 6 controls on the steering wheel (two scrollers with a press function and 4 buttons) is all there is. I've critized the touch-only approach before, but actually using it changed my mind entirely. The screen is still hard to use, but you don't really need to. You can control the stereo, ACC and roof without taking your hands of the wheel, really the only thing you need to do on the screen is searching for new songs or navigating, which you should be pulled over before you do anyway.

The control interface, there's too much you can modify here to mention.

Instrument cluster, simple and yet it has everything you need.

Browsing Facepunch while charging
I also spotted a convertible SLS AMG, sorry about the horrible phone photo.

You really gotta include a full list of the stuff you used and some diagrams and other technical info, this is something I've always wanted to do.
Also, the song at around 1:07, Future Proof by Massive Attack is also on the Resident Evil: Apocalypse soundtrack.

Wow that looks stupid, who would ever want to drive something like that :v:

MMM tasty. Changed gear oil in my rex today, that was there, but my trans feels fine. Previous owner blew every gear in my 5spd, hoping it's just left over from that.
Also, fucking trans mount bolts have always shaken themselves loose over time and come off on every subi i've owned, causing my gearbox to lift up and the linkage rub on the chassis, producing molasses shifting. Glad $3 fixed that problem, I thought my 5spd shitcanned
[editline]5th July 2015[/editline]
subarus tend to make every noise on the planet, sound like they're going to explode at any second, but never fucking die.

I had 15 beers and shot off $70 worth of fireworks. I enjoyed the 4th very much, but waking up was a fucking nightmare
3rd/4th was great for me, the sheer amount of people drunk locking themselves out of shit was great. Made like $300 in two days.
I never drank a drop of alcohol and just simply watched the neighboring city's annual fireworks at their Civic Center like most years. On call, so I can't drink. Going on a road trip today with my camera to look at a Miata that's been for sale for forever up on 122 just out of curiosity.
also, for anyone in the orlando area, there's some really nice clay roads in Clermont. Look up 5 Mile Rd; clay/dirt roads that are smooth as shit with some great bends.
