whats that shit on hammond's face
whats that shit on hammond's face
Porche 911 exhaust emissions probably.
Netflix would have been better. They would make so much more money
I believe on of the main reasons they chose for Amazon is because they promised to give them full creative freedom. James Hammond and May doing whateverthefuck they can think of? Count me in
Who the hell is James Hammond?
Netflix would have been better. They would make so much more money
Netflix would have been better because it works in Canada. I pay for Prime though still can't get their service. So I guess I'm still pirating...
In automotive news, my upstairs neighbors moved out today (they were also my friends of 7 years), and literally the second they did, these people who used to live with the apartment manager moved in. There's now about 36 people living in these 7 apartments. (Take a guess why). The unit next to me the lady moved out, then the manager's daughter moved in, she's about to pop out baby number 4. Then their friends moved above that, they complain about everything and honk the horn of their car every 10 minutes for some damn reason. They moved two other people in. The lady on the other side of me is just her, and her boyfriend - they're nice. Then there's a single guy who lives up above her, and he has a son that comes by every week or so, and he's nice. So let me re-iterate, that makes 29 people for the other 4 apartments I guess. I could be adding to that number but still. Drought hit in California, landlord said to save water, people living with manager proceed to wash clothes all day every day (literally) and hose off their cars. Not wash them, hose them for a long time - and rake the water bill up $2,000 in the few months they're here, raises my rent $50 because of it. So landlord eliminated the only washer and dryer on site, now I have to go to a coin-op place when I used to be able to do it right here. So anyway, those people got kicked out, now they are literally moving in right above me. Landlord didn't put a for rent sign out or anything. There's 5 of them. These are all 2 bedroom apartments... Also, they all stay up till about 1am, and let their kids play outside in the dark, so there's about 5 or 6 little kids running around in their goddamn underwear outside at all hours of the night banging on their respective screen doors yelling and screaming to be let back in... then there's the damn accordian music. You know what I'm talking about - as loud as possible. All the damn time. Couple all that with the fact that they all share a driver's license (I watch them hand it to each other when they go drive) and (yes even the females. I don't think they understand why that doesn't work) and hole up a bunch of cars. They all collectively use eachother's cars. Everyone in the complex, and they keep breaking down because they go and buy those "I don't have credit, and can not obtain credit for certain reasons, can I have a car" loans, and it's always totalled and repaired cars, last about 3 months, then they just die or break down or whatever, and then they just keep piling em up. 3 per parking spot, all over the street, etc... And they all slam the doors of the cars, honk the horns, play accordian music on them all hours of the night and day... etc... But basically the new neighbor thing is the last straw, I'm pretty much sick of it. Their kids won't even play with my kids when they see them outside and it always makes my daughter sad too, so I say F*** these guys. So leave right? Problem - my ex-wife messed my credit up so hard it's not even funny. I don't qualify for shit. I can't even pass a credit check on a appartment lease, or come up with the (usually $3,000 here) move in cost. SO I'm stuck. It used to be nice, now it's a little junky villa. This is why I'm pushing for this business, and the vinyl thing around here, because I want out. The boat business is fine when there's a project, but I am in a state of getting paid a lot of money to do a boat, just to spend pretty much all of it to repair the boat. Erm... car stuff.... The Toyota Corolla is pretty decent. 8/10 Serj and Driver. Winner of awesome economy car award. /rant
That sucks man. DM me on FB about the business (I honestly only skim through here when I get more than a page behind, so I really don't remember 100% what it's about. Iirc it's vinyls for cars, in which case I might be interested in something). Honestly hope you can get the things worked out to get you, your fiance and your beautiful matching Darts to a better home.
whats that shit on hammond's face
He became an 'Murican.

Everyone seems to love that breaking bad RV I ported, also what's the sauce of the red SUV in front of the school bus?

I don't think I even want to bother to attempt to clean up the B7 manifold and just sell it as is. Garage sinks and full laundry rooms are badass though, anyone who builds a house without either of these should quit life. I'm gonna pick up an old dishwasher someday when I have my own house, there's a guy up north of here who used to rebuild motors and he used an old dishwasher for cleaning heads and car parts.
Looks better than before
Rear quarter panel tops only works with certain body colors, and green isn't one of them, IMO. I think the only cars with vinyl tops that work visually are some of the unconventional cars that had unique top designs as an option, like the AMC Javelin (pictured) or Rambler Marlin. [t]http://i.imgur.com/G1LQTT3.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/Qfnwk41.jpg[/t] Have you tried pulling off the top to see what it's like underneath? If it's anything like my fathers vehicles from the 1980s, your roof will be entirely rust underneath it.

I quite like the black and green colors, hopefully I can find some vinyl for the side missing it
Didn't bother to check underneath. Vinyl tops destroy roofs. It was a silly thing from the 70s for making fake convertibles and it was dumb then, and never understood why it's still a thing.

I'm sure it's not in perfect condition but I'm having a lot of fun putting work into the car. I figured it should have some character and stick out a little bit so I did the easiest and cheapest exterior modification I could think of. I wanna invest in LED's soon for headlights, breaklights, and interior lighting.

Even Buick, the chariots of the elderly, do not offer tops from the factory. There are companies that make aftermarket tops, though. A few days ago I saw a brand new Cadillac XTS with a beige top. I occasionally see Lexuses (Lexi?) with aftermarket tops as well.
Checked A4 Audi prices in UK. Holy shit, they are so cheap and in such good condition compared to Ireland. For 7000 GBP you can get good looking and well looked after Audi in UK. I am currently shopping around for A4, I am seriously considering taking trip to UK and buying car there then importing it. Price to register it in Ireland is around 2200 Euro, surely it's a bit more work required to buy car but I would end up with better car.

yo - can someone look up a vin for me? 2fahp71v28x103554 ok thx
I looked up the vin number on google because thats where I do all my detective private eye investigator work. I enhanced the first link. I found that it is a 2008 crown victoria up for auction. I enhanced the photographs of it and it looks to be a royal mess. I have concluded my investigation. I will send you a bill with the details but for investigations I charge $80 an hour. This took me 6 hours to find the information I just shared. Your welcome.
Vinyl tops can look cool but no cooler than just painting the top black. :v:

Unfortunately you can't tell the axle ratio and LSD status from the vin. Besides condition those are really the only deciding factors in desirability of a Vic. You'll want 3.55s or 3.73's and a trac-lock diff. Don't bother with taller gears, even with 2.73s your BMW will cream it in fuel economy. And the open diff has put me into serious trouble if it starts to fishtail.
