Talked to another guy he has some Plymouth Satellites that arnt listed so I can see what comes of that. Really I dont have a car that I must buy just cars I wont buy.
Noticed some odd residue when I was looking at my valve cover [t]http://i.imgur.com/oAsz04F.jpg[/t] oh on other news here's my project E30 [t]http://i.imgur.com/IRLnHOH.jpg[/t] Almost finished installing that roll bar, adding in my Corbeau FX1s, and the 6 point harness Once that's done, I'll drop the engine + trans, and swap in my S52. Do suspension work, cosmetics, and it should be good. -pagekingedit- Just installed new wheels on my dad's car [t]http://i.imgur.com/zSSU4IB.jpg[/t]
Speaking of BMW's, I bought an F30 about 6 months ago and the whole honeymoon phase has never ended I love this car.
I'm coming up on a year with the Charger in a couple of months, and as much shit as I give the car over some really little things and some things it really, really should have gotten right by 2008, everytime I mash the go pedal in first gear and it revs beyond 6k rpm, I fall in love with it again, too. There's just something about a family car that can actually get up and go that's just so fun and enjoyable.
Yeah I'm never gonna get tired of my car, I think. Year and a half in and we've come to an understanding. I put up with its shit, it puts up with mine.
My car doesnt have a radio because its a racecar! Its complete! Its just a factory delete everything with the lightweight package.
So basically you lost all the pieces?
How about after you made that car payment?
Eh, it's not that bad. Insurance is pretty annoying though. $250/month to insure that bitch but my previous nissan altima was the same so I really don't know how they get their premiums.

On a truk with no saftey features. Ontop alot of speeding tickets.... and under 25.
I'm $116 a month on my own plan with a Honda accord, one of the most stolen cars in the US, and an 85 Supra.

I'm 18 and I found out I can get full collision on my MR2 for around $160/mo or $94/mo for liability. Not bad for an 18-almost-19 year old, I guess.

50 bucks a month for my truck, and 175 for my bike.
$285 a month for car payments and $140 for insurance. I only make 9.50 an hour at 45 hours a week and pay rent/bills independently. But for owning an Impreza it's worth it, right?
Holy cow thank goodness for getting older I guess. Slithers are you a convicted terrorist or something? They're charging you as such, at any rate. That melts my mind.
I finally dug the gas vapor minibike out of the shed to discover the throttle cable had snapped. I replaced it with the old throttle cable from my cx500 and unfucked the throttle linkage a little(now with 50% less rubber bands). After that I found enough attatchments so I could start the motor with my drill, instead of having to pull the rope multiple hundred times. I also traded the cool looking red twisty valve for a big ball valve for better airflow. [t]http://i.imgbox.com/2ZH1AAya.jpg[/t] I plugged the end of the vent tube and drilled a bunch of holes in it so it would make ~smoother~ bubbles and not splash gas up into the intake hose. After only a few more hours fiddling, I got it running damn near perfect. Heres a video of it running. https://www.dropbox.com/s/v12ecl75phh4g6w/VID_20150430_205449.mp4?dl=0 I took it for a test drive and it went great. The first prototype, "moonshiner" lasted once around the block before it froze up. The second prototype, "pipe bomb" lasted 1.5 times around before I noticed the PVC melting and killed it because Id rather it not turn into a real pipe bomb with my ass right on top of it. This model, "meth lab", lasted 10 times around the block and was still going strong when I called it quits. I had to shove the tube a little further down every other lap as the fuel got lower and it would lean out because it works best making bubbles right below the surface. I measured one lap to be roughly 0.375 miles, so I rode 3.75 miles on it. I wouldnt have to adjust it as much if "meth lab"s tube was more than 2in diameter, or I had some way to keep the fuel level the same, like a float and valve of some sort. Maybe I need to salvage a toilet for my next prototype, then I can have another shitty codename for it (har har har). Also I sorta got the dune buggy working with the 2bbl carb, its just so fucking overjetted that it runs richer than jay leno, cant shift into 1st without violently coughing to death, has throttle response comparable to dial up, and likes to shoot 2 foot flames out the top of the carb. I professionally extended the throttle cable (see pic below), and drove it around in reverse, since reverse is lower geared than 1st. [t]http://i.imgbox.com/DYDwhaj2.jpg[/t] smaller jets are in the mail.
So basically you lost all the pieces?
Nah, i bagged and tagged EVERYTHING! It never came with a radio (has the provision for one) but I may just get a radio delete plate and put that in. The only things I'm missing (as far as i know) are the passenger or driver side tail light, I forget which one I have, and headlights.
The Odyssey is a minivan that's faster and much better to drive than a minivan.
Fuck dude tell me about it, that thing was a dream to drive, it's the only reason I liked it and stuck with it for so long. [editline]1st May 2015[/editline]
14 grand for a truck that was in the mid 20's new? These also have spaghetti frames and rust problems. Gg no re
9 grand. They gave me WAY more than my car was worth in trade. KBB value for my van was $3000 at its condition with a trade in value under $1500. After tax, title, tag, and other fees I'm financing like 11k. Worth it IMO. A new car is well out of my price range, financed or not. Also I seriously doubt the 2006 F150 was "mid 20's" considering the trim level I have (stx) has consistently been mid to high 30's brand new. Also, KBB fair purchase price for this truck in its condition and trim level is $10,000, with MSRP being $12,000. I checked all of this out before signing, I got a pretty good deal all things considered. Before tag, title, tax, and all that other shit my financing price was $8,995 after trade in. Frame seems perfectly solid. It's steel, with a hauling capacity of 1900lbs and a towing capacity of around 10k max. Don't shit on my truck please I'm happy with it.
Has anyone tried the Meguiar's NXT liquid wax? I picked up a bottle yesterday at work and as long as the weather stays good I'll hopefully get the car cleaned this weekend but I've not used a liquid wax before.
Don't shit on my truck please I'm happy with it.
It's Tmaxxx, he shits on everything.
Well, I found some more reading material that shows what people are doing when they lower/stance their miatas. The springs you have aren't absolutely terrible but I think they are less than ideal. Are they installed with any preload? The way you know something is really wrong with a non-coilover spring is if it flops around very willingly on the strut without being compresses at all. Preload is really important to ride quality even if it's really minor or just sits on top of the spring happily without pressure.
. Don't shit on my truck please I'm happy with it.
I'm not shitting on it. I'm telling you the problem with those trucks.

Its just as shiny as the other junk but waaaaaaay easuer to wipe off. You do have to work it a little more to get rid of the streaks.
Update on the boat: $100 in parts later ($30 for the relays, $60 for the damn oil cap + shipping), I am confident that the trim/tilt problems have been solved. Only had to dismantle the entire carburetor housing + some oil lines to get to the relays. Then came the "oh fuck me" moment when the (assuming) factory gasket just fell apart. So I guess its time to order a new gasket... Two steps forward, one step back. [editline]1st May 2015[/editline] Once the gasket arrives we're doing a land test, then straight to the lake

Strangely though, it would cost me over 300 a month to drive a Honda Civic. It melts my mind too, but no credit. It's hard to get liquid wax to not streak, make sure you apply in the shade.
Tried out doing vinyl for the first time, I think it came out pretty well! Serj/Sally, how hard/expensive is it to replace a vinyl top yourself? Should we bother to replace it or just paint the roof?
