You can pretty much get 30mpg+ out of anything new that isn't two-stroke or supercharged if you're willing to hypermile hard enough (and piss off everyone sharing the road with you whilst taking twice as long to get anywhere).
I fucking love dodge rampages
I want one sooooo bad, but with something better than a 4banger.
I had one of the rarest of the rare. 1983 CANADIAN direct connection model. They only made 253 direct connection models period, even less went to canada (came with all the goodies) and even fewer remain over the years

Had a 2.2L that was carbed that went like a bat outta hell! It belonged to me great grandpa and he was some engine wizard so i'm sure it had something done to it. Had a lot of rubber melted into the front fenders too.

Hypermiling does not work with traffic. I've tried.
I actually try to hypermile home from work when I get off at 4am. Works awesome.
I read the wikihow article on hypermiling because I didn't know what it was
I do not like hypermilers. They sound like pain in the ass drivers.
If they stay in the far right lane, good for them for not wasting fuel, but god help them if they're the type to sit in the left lane. It's always a fucking Prius.
I want to put this across my rear window:

I live in Florida
Everyone here drives like a goddamn moron
Especially when it rains. Which it does very often during the spring and summer. It bothers me how much people lose their shit when it rains here.
You fucking live here you know this happens learn to drive in it

It's the same in Virginia. If its snowing, don't bother leaving the house, you'll surely be killed by a soccer mom in an escalade or a dudebro in lifted F-150.

My dad had an 84 rampage when I was a kid. He kept telling me it had some sort of i6 or slant 6, but I'm not sure I believe him. It was a great little thing, but got sold to an old friend of his, who I think sold it again. I've fantacised about tracking it down and having a neat little project car, but I dont have the money and I don't have the space and I don't even have the patience to get my fucking vw buggy working.
I wonder how difficult a rampage srt4 swap would be...
is... is $10.50 expensive for an oil filter...?
That's what it cost when I bought it for my Honda
and for my Ford it's like $6.50
That seems... really cheap
I don't think you have bought filters from a real parts store in a while, Mobil 1 filters are $14 and Bosch is $16. I can get better/similar quality Denso filters for $3 a pop.

Uh. I bought my Bosch filter from Walmart in March and paid $10.63.
Autozone carries Bosch filters for my F150 for $6.49
Bosch, Odyssey: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Bosch-Distance-Plus-Oil-Filters/17243918
Bosch, F150: http://www.autozone.com/external-engine/oil-filter/bosch-oil-filter/ford/f150-1-2-ton-p-u-2wd/2006/6-cylinders-2-4-2l-efi/190564_0_0/
In fact, most of the oil filters at Autozone for my truck are under $10. The most expensive is $16 and that's a K&N-303. Same applies for the 2003 Honda Odyssey I used to drive, and we all know Autozone is not typically known for fair/low prices.
Not sure where you live that Bosch/Mobil 1 filters are that expensive but it sounds terrible. How much is a gallon of gas there?
Just realized gas is 4.06$ US a gallon here,it may actually be cheaper than the 30 minute round trip to Washington to fill up now.

$1.99 a liter, and $7.562 a gallon here :v:
$2.65/gallon
I don't envy you guys

Maybe I mistook it for the K&N, Mobil 1's are 13.50 for Hondas.
Okay nevermind I was wrong WS gas prices are about 2.50$ US per gallon.
[editline]11th May 2015[/editline]
Alot of the reason the gas prices here are so high is we have a carbon tax, transit tax,Goverment sales tax,Provincial sales tax,and excise tax on the gas. They also do some fuckery with the taxes where you are paying taxes ontop of taxs ontop of taxes.

Guys, don't laugh at me, but I finally saw F&F7, and I cried so much at the end. I couldn't help it. I've been watching those movies for so long, it's like I grew up with them. To know that Paul Walker won't be in them anymore and that ending just hit me hard. It feels like a part of me died. If you love the F&F series, and haven't seen it already, wait for the DVD to save yourself the tears in public.

$1.81/liter in the next city over, yay indie stations! Of course, it's like $2.11 here...

I've only EVER heard good things about Bosch parts. Everyone I know that works with cars recommends them. What's wrong with 'em?
Nothing necessarily wrong with them, as long as they fit your vehicle. My Saab for instance is picky about needing NGK plugs.

Except from slamming the trunk on the cable, I don't really blame him. Any car with the battery in the trunk should have a jump point under the hood, especially when the release is electric.
You know.. I've never though about that. How do you guys with keyfobs open the trunk when it's dead? Haha.
My key is a regular key with the fob built onto it, so I'd just use the key part, or I'd use the button on the driver door. Newer Saabs have a key that comes out when you press the logo:

It was actually down to $1.71 a liter over here but after 12 it got up to $2.02
That's $6.5 and $7.9 a gallon for you weird americans
I fucking hate filling up too late on Mondays. I had about 3L on the tank so I had to fill up but didn't get my money before 12.

That's not how it works. Right lane should only be occupied when you're exiting or just entered the highway within the last 2 or 3 miles, or obviously during traffic, although traffic wouldn't be a problem if people could drive. Everyone should always be in the middle lane(s) unless they're passing or exiting/just entered the highway.

And I'm sure some one has done an SRT-4 swap on it. They've done it to all of it's sister cars.
The Rampage looks like a mullet to me, I could never drive one.

Yeah, I think it's because it's too tall and skinny.
Chopped top.

Though that would be absolutely no head room for anyone about 5'6". If the car was 20-30% bigger it'd be cool.

No, the right lane is the lane you should be in if there is faster traffic around you. If someone doesn't know how to merge on to the right lane of the highway because there is traffic in it, that's not really a problem if they realized that all the highway entries are giant circles. Can't merge? Don't stop goddamnit, just take the exit and come back and try again.
Does no one understand how a fucking merge works? If there isn't a gap for you, then come back, don't start a fucking pileup.
