a bit overkill on the body parts imo
nice illegal front numberplate
They aren't too small, they weigh 4300 with the v12, 4000 with the v8. I imagine a TT LS1 with a smaller trans and removing all the sound deadening + heavy shit could get it down fairly light.
The cars go for $5000-10000 too which isnt that bad.
still, a tt v8 is more than that thing was designed for.
I'm not saying dont do it, I'm saying its gonna be more than plopping in an engine.
A: Looks silly. B: He says it's "Not an easy car to drive, not an easy car to own" then cites parking being difficult. What? The Mustang's extremely easy to park, what's he done to it to make it hard?
Right after he says that, he mentions having to walk around the car to get his parking ticket in car parks. I also imagine the car parks and parking houses aren't designed to take on a big american Mustang, and I sometimes find it difficult to navigate them in a "regular" car.

it's not america, we don't have very large parking spaces here in europe.

Ah, I couldn't make out what he was saying and thought he had moved on to a different topic. And the Mustang isn't really a big car, it's only slightly larger than a Focus.
it's not america, we don't have very large parking spaces here in europe.
Americans can't even park right in our huge parking spaces. It's embarrassing to watch people not know how to pull into a space.
I watched my neighbor make a 10-point turn just to center the car in a space, and still failed to get it in between the lines.
"Spatial awareness? I can't find that in the app store. Are you sure it isn't android only?"
-100k miles... you wanna share something with the rest of us? Do a lot of driving in reverse?
Yeah, I accidentally plugged my diff speed sensor in the other way. Always wondered why my speedometer kept going to counter-clockwise when i accelerated
Here are some pictures I took of the Supra today. Overall it's in a very good condition. It has 2 rust spots on the body which are easily mendable, but it looks very good underneith. No rust there.

The car or the seats? They're 2 Corbeau FX1s with G-force 6-point camlock harnesses. The parts car is a 1991 E30 318i sedan. My track car is a 1984/5? E30 318i coupe.

this one
Damn, is that your mudder project? She's jacked up like a 4x4
Stock stocks + springs lol. It's WAY too high. I've got H&R sport springs and bilstein shocks ready to be put in the car. I'm just waiting for my new rear subframe to get in. I'll be swapping out the rear brakes from drums to disks.
It'll look like my old E30

I miss you ;~;
BMW's came with drums even then? That seems unluxurious.
BMW's came with drums even then? That seems unluxurious.
320is and below had drums on the rear. Never had a problem stopping even with my m30 swap though. no abs or anything.

A 2010 Mustang is 478/188 Long/wide, a 2011 Focus is 436/182 (centimetres) Also stuff like visibility, that long hood isn't nearly as easy to see in front of.

psh, only half a meter. practically same size.

For E30s I think it was only the 318i from 1984-1985. Everything else came with disk brakes, including my '91 E30 318. Plus I get the disk brakes for free, so I wont pass up the offer

my 88 320i had drums on the rear.
Ah, alright. I was just running off of http://www.strictlyeta.net/technical/specifications2.html
I think those are US specs only, seeing as there's no 320i at all on there, and the 325i makes 3 HP less than european ones.
mine was like complete economy model though, no lsd, no power steering, no abs, cloth seats, you know, nothing except a steering wheel, an engine and four wheels.
psh, only half a meter. practically same size.
That's what she said....
(Sorry, I couldn't resist)
BMW's came with drums even then? That seems unluxurious.
The 3 series was BMW's Civic, even more so with the 318i. Hell, many E36's came with unpainted bumpers?
Well I fucked up moving the pontiac I put the hitch off a 5th wheel trailer through the windshield.
Combo of bad brakes and the fact some random fuckers parked a random trailer in where my pontiac was supposed to go.
Well shit
Must not have a towing package

Yep, lots of plastic bits.

I just really want a mini truck thing..
Calling bullshit, no way can you fit 10" in a stock tub unless you jacked the ass way up
Mustang Sally, I have no reason to lie to you. The ass IS jacked up. lol.
And my figures are a little off. I was guess-timating. The rear tires are about 9 1/2 - 9 3/4" wide at the bulge and 9" touching the street - and the fronts are about 8" wide, 7 1/2" touching the street. This is with a Stanley standard tape measure.
All four wheels are 7"x14"
195/60/14 in front
245/60/14 in back

I had to roll the fender wells to get them to fit without scraping the lip.
Clearance to springs - like not much.

And that's a stock rear suspension.

Tl:DR -
Valon Kyre: You're a liar Serj, and you're going to spend 100 years before the mast!
Serj: Valon, why you gotta be so rude? Don't you know I'm human too? I'm gonna marry that gurl.
Valon: Nooooo!!!!
Serj: Scientific data and measuring shit.

A lot of European cars at the time came with unpainted bumpers because they were too lazy and/or cheap to paint the US bumpers.

It's got the fucking USS Nimitz for a bumper, and this is a top of the line car whose modern successor has a nigh 6-figure price tag.

You sure that didn't fall into the 5mph/$1000 damage rule? They set forth a rule where cars would have to withstand a 5mph crash while only sustaining less than $1,000 in damage. Thus bumpers started moving forward, and I believe having them unpainted made it a lot cheaper to replace to be part of the rule. I'm thinking the European spec ones are painted correct? So that would be why, not to be cheap, but to comply with the U.S. damage laws. Also I'm not sure if it was $1,000, maybe it was 500. I don't know.
