Well after owning a few I cant say that I dont like mustangs, but to me the whole "chick car" thing took off after the redesign of the SN95 (2000?), the SN95 was pushing it though in 1994-2000 or whatever on borderline becoming a chick car. Fox was and still is a guy car
Before that they were simple cars with the goal in mind to be a RWD V8 car and nothing more. None of this fancy luxury or town cruising bullshit.
The notchback fox and 1968 Fastback from bullit will always hold a spot in my list of favorite cars, behind the mopars
Those roundy ass SN95 94-98 mustangs are fuck awful. I actually wanna cry when I see them. 99-04 New Edgers are breddy nice looking though with the sharp lines and way less chick car.
Where's hell soldier( was that his name?)

I think you're thinking of hellstrike?
Sounds right
Did you blast it sand or glass, or did you sand it manually? It looks great and I'm hoping to unfuck some rims I got laying around.
My friend sandblasted them at his job but he did a terrible job. I hand sanded them, 3 coats of primer, 3 of paint, then 3 of clear

I'm guessing mine would need a lot of work. I don't even know if they are just fake or if you can actually take them apart like yours.
someone texted me and asked me if I had installed airbags in my Jeep, when i said no he said ok thanks.
Someone also offered me trade of a 79 Fiat Spider but I told him I wasn't looking for trades. That SHO is still for sale ;~;
And I finally got a full time job so I can waste more money on cars!

...Airbags as in the things that deploy whn you crash? If I recall installing those in a car no designed to have them kinda just kills people

Not if it was an option on said car, you could theoretically retrofit it, it'd be a lot of work, though.
The guy doing the tune up on my F-150 just called me up.
The good news: The leakdown test showed that all of the valves were seating and good.
The bad news: In the compression test, cylinder 1 is at 75. To put this in perspective, the rest of the cylinders are around 160.
I guess I can't complain about a compression ring going out after 315,000 miles....
luxury dealer was at car show today, let one of the event organisers drive a california turbo on the saw mill
he took it up to 135...on the saw mill...in a ferrari he didnt own and couldnt afford
the dealer never stopped him or said to slow down, it was the drivers choice
The people who drive on the Saw Mill are all idiots

It's an easy retrofit to do on old Mercedes-Benzes, but why would you ever?
Will i get hanged for putting an LS1 in my dart? Its light, all aluminum, modern, makes good power, huge and cheap aftermarket, takes boost very well, and it bolts right up to the trans im getting (T56 Magnum)
I can get one that needs a crank for $1200 which would be good for my budget. I was thinking later down the road re-sleeve it and stroke it to 427. The other option is to build the 426 Hemi block we have but thats big $$$$ but would be mega cool
I'd thought of a 440 or modern hemi but for what you get, what they are, and what it costs I'd rather an LS or 426.
Im going to be shipping everything I need for my dart to the border and picking it up myself, its going to be like a second christmas!
I went to a drift event for the first time ever yesterday.. that was pretty sweet. Lots of newbies / amateurs, but still fun to watch. A handful of cars/drivers stood out though, and there was an RX7 duo that tore it up consistently, one of them was super good. Sure looks like a fun hobby.

If you put a carb on it, yes. If you use it as a full modern drivetrain with megasquirt or whatever all done up right I wouldn't since it's by far one the best modern cheap, powerful drivetrains.
There's a bunch of people who make like 500+ on stock bottom end 4.8/5.3 truck motors, I'd keep the build fairly simple and just slap a turbo on it as after the turbo parts the motor is interchangeable with a tune. I don't think there's really any other motor in the world you can treat like this almost bone stock and pull the numbers people do for the money.

This guy does some crazy cheap builds, has done 10's plenty of times for roughly 5k out of pocket including car cost.

Hard to tell from the picture but I think those are single piece wheels, replica of something similar to the ones I posted. It looks like it is just cast with fake bolts on top, take a picture of the back of them and I will know for sure.
But yeah if they arent 2 or 3 piece or a quality 1 piece wheel, I doubt it would be worth refinishing them. Besides man hours it isnt that expensive though, $50 on sandpaper and compounds/polishes, $30 on paint, and I spent $80 on a harbor freight table buffer but that isn't required, just made buffing the lips so much easier.
I plan on doing a little diy guide once im completely done since ive been taking pictures.
That would be the idea, just a bone stock freshened up LS1 to get it moving, then work on building twins on it. After the twins are done pull the engine and go LSX or sleeve and stroke to 427.
Like what serj did, dont take the car out of comission, but build the turbo set up piece by piece. There is heaps of information online about turboing them, and my dad has a load of experience in turbos, so its not anything groundbreaking.
Shouldn't be big block in terms of fuel consumption (like I give a crap) but i plan on touring canada and the US in my car so any little bit is nice.
Well, don't let that sully your view of Honda as a whole. They definitely make good cars. I really liked my Odyssey. Not many companies can make a minivan that drives and handles like a sedan.
That sounds like a real shitty scenario. I would have demanded a refund after a while. Surely they did something to breach the sales contract.
He's never been overly in love with the Accord. It's always just been 'just another sedan' to him. Not to mention the only advantage it has over any competitor is the warranty, which must be done at that location, and they don't offer vehicles that fit what we need as a company, so we're withdrawing and it's not longer beneficial for us and are refusing to give them even warranty business.

Fair enough.
Chrysler is running, idler pulley is siezed and i need a new fan belt.
No brakes still going to change up the front breaks and see if that fixes it.

Yes. Good. The problem with taking it out of comission is it will never go back into use quick enough. My car was never down more thank 2 days at a time, and I like to keep it that way. There's a lot you can put on before the turbo to support it, and still run it NA. I had my intercooler mounted, hood pins done, fuel pump, regulator, carburetor built, etc... before the turbo ever went in and I was driving it like that.

No. I am one of those people that appreciate anything swapped into anything.
Looks a bit less shitty now:

I'm considering the trunk part pretty much finished.
Whew that's better!
did a "test fit" because im impatient, the offset ended up being pretty much the same as my other wheels which is perfect.

Looks really good. Nice job.
It's happening. I'm trading my miata for a 5 door e36. 224k on the chasis, but only 120k on the motor. Not a bad trade if I do say so myself...

Seeing it Wednesday, wish me luck.
Where's the 5th door?
Is it the 5-door or hatchback e36's that are somewhat rare but ungodly ugly?
Ahh, it's the 3-door 316 that I'm thinking of.

back window lifts up with the trunk. Also known as a hatchback really
