im either repainting the entire car a nicer red or black or just matching the kit. still saving up for the front end because all together its ~$1000 for the front setup
did a "test fit" because im impatient, the offset ended up being pretty much the same as my other wheels which is perfect.

I swear, I saw someone the other day with your same exact setup.
Purchased headers for my car today, since it's an extra paycheck month.
My roommate and I installed my coilovers on Sunday. That was a long pain, but I'm glad we did it. While having the wheels off, I noticed they're all toasted. The rears are 3/32nds left and those are the good tires. Guess I'll be buying some more tomorrow. There goes the other half of my paycheck!
The Supra I'm getting is RHD and is imported straight from Japan through England, so the headlights are set up for left side of the road-driving. That means I need some new headlights that's suited for right side driving, also I want the facelift headligts.
So I called Toyota Denmark to get a price.
Unrelated: If any one wants to buy a kidney I'll be selling mine for $2100
So I just tossed the CRX Si 15mm rear swaybar on my Civic. Here's a pic of my collection..
[t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5601782/EF%20Pics/2015-05-19%2002.00.18.jpg[/t][t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5601782/EF%20Pics/2015-05-19%2002.13.03.jpg[/t]
Holy fucking shit, it's so much stiffer than the Civic Si 13mm one and it feels sort of like my Integra but more mild and with a 700lbs diet.
I can't believe how good it feels now, it's so flat in the corners and the rear end wants to play a little when you lift off but nothing uncontrollable really. I see why people loved the CRX Si so much, shave 150lbs off then give it some more power with a comfier spring rate(than mine). I couldn't even imagine how damn good a slightly tuned CRX SiR with a B16A, super short gearing and a LSD stock was.
I really need to get the bad tie rod off this thing, some fresh trailing arm bushings and a smaller steering wheel. Maybe someday I'll get some properly valved bilsteins for it but those cost more than I paid for the car..

Can't you just get JDM headlights for it? Or do they have to be EU/Denmark DOT approved?
Well, I'd be blinding anyone coming opposite of me
Well, I'd be blinding anyone coming opposite of me
alter your alignment so you crab everywhere and the headlights end up pointing the right way
I was on the opposite end of a stoplight of some douchebag in a rice coffin with about a 30 degree camber and had xenon headlights with no projectors. They glared so bad they were blinding me in the middle of day. I hope somebody pours sand in his oil.

Headlights are made differently for RHD and LHD markets. My car's owner's manual has instructions for taping of the headlights for driving on the other side.
Around here There is actually a good market for Japanese imports mostly dumbasses who wreck them within months so spare parts are pretty plentiful.
Knew one guy who rolled 3 RX-7s in less than a year.
Where do you live though? Average area income and availability contribute a lot. I've never heard of a JDM car wrecked in NS. I've never heard of a JDM car under 10-12k in NS either though
BC.
Figures
How do you make a career out of driving? It's pretty much all I'm good at other than taking care of someone.
I'll die a volunteer firefighter before I get a retail or restaurant job again. I frankly can't stand tending to consumers, at least not the ones in my area.
Looking into getting a CDL and becoming a registered caretaker.
Can't remember my last true update.
Dad sold the crewcab powerstroke, got a '99 powerstroke dumptruck and a 2001 Jeep GC with the money.
Finally got the Detroit inspected and have been driving it, much easier on my wallet than my old truck. Seems to be around 20mpg, and getting to drive a classic diesel rig is a great feeling.
After the 1500 mile trip to get my girlfriend, the radiator in my Impreza sprung a leak. Replaced it, made a 1000 mile trip to Ohio right after without issue.
So
long time since i posted last, i've been busy getting my volvo on the road again, and toying around with my golf...
I mounted a stock front end on the golf, and getting some new doors for it, also doing the back bumper and upgrading the cooler.
Also audi has nearly done 400.000km, hey dp cheers...
and at the end of this summer, i officially will be living in my own home with a HUGE garage with loads of space for cars and other things for shit and giggles..

Yes, I'm aware of this. I was confused by the way he worded it because he didn't specificly say which headlights he was looking for so I was thinking that he had LHD headlights but needed RHD headlights. Wouldn't it be cheaper to find some USDM headlights or something from a LHD market? $1200 seems crazy to spend on headlights when you got the car for not what a full price turbo or something is worth.

Dunno what the kinds of costs shipping internationally would incur or what taxes you would have to pay to get it cleared through your customs though and the above is really just an example as ebay is pretty disappointing in selection.
Anybody live in montana? I may be shipping a good $15000 in parts to a place on the border, could do a small meet

Be good at driving, look like a buff version of God, be a good salesperson and buy sponsors - Wahlah! You're a NASCAR man.

I don't but I'll drive to the border if you'll get me an SVT-40 :v:
I'm going to put a feeler out here, but if anyone lives in the Portland, OR area, I will paypal you $5 or something if you drive by a business and verify if a trailer is there. We are getting the runaround from a company that will not return our calls but claims the trailer was done - a month ago, but will not ship it, so I must go get it, but I'm not going to go grab it unless it really exists. I've never seen it, but you'd be looking for a large ALUMINUM trailer, with 3 AXLES (6 wheels), that would fit a 30 foot boat. You don't have to talk to anyone or go inside, or get into any uncomfortable situations. Just go see if you see it outside. If you send me a picture of it, I'll paypal you $10.00.
Any other info - like the place looks deserted, or there's a forcelosure sign or some junk, is also helpful.
So, I got a job at a legit shop about 2 weeks ago, so I haven't been posting because it's fucking taxing as the boss is a bit... sporadic as to what I should be doing at the time.
So, here is a small pic dump of some of the things I've been up to.

I'm around 100 miles south, there's a couple portlanders and vancouver people who post though. I will be up there in about 1-2 weeks though, if it's not like 30 miles off from the airport I'll definitely drive by. If you want you can PM me your number and I'll text you or something, I'd be happy to take some pictures if I do.

$15 to just drive by and look for a trailer? That's a great deal. I'd totally do it for the $20 you're offering if I lived in Portland. Too bad I don't, I could use an extra $25.
Looks like my Cavalier's [del]shoddy build quality and age[/del] automatic weight reduction system is taking effect on my AC condenser, hopefully there's enough fins to still keep it cool. I'm hoping throwing a can of refrigerant at the problem will help, if not, well I'll go back to driving it without AC as I have for the past few years anyway.

That might be reasonable, but idealy the sooner the better. If no one else can, then that'll work.

For a second I thought this was a picture of a bee hive without any bees
If I could find somewhere to work, I'd like to get into outboard repairs. Theres seriously a huge market up here with only 3 shops to choose from for the entire metro.
