Well hes only doing 25psi right now, but if hes going to go to 50 psi with a pair of 94mms (engine can take 60psi+ and 10000 rpm) and essentially make another 1200hp (4000+ total?) then hes going to need the next step up Th400 which is pretty well indestructable
Dude with truck wants to trade again, apparently the dmv issue was that the title of the truck was under his dad's name, but the dude who owns the truck never transferred the title to himself, so he thought he couldn't sell it, because he wasn't the true owner. But they found that he can sell it for his dad. Meeting him tomorrow.
This is the closest thing to a "good" deal for a datsun 510 near me. http://losangeles.craigslist.org/ant/cto/5043726108.html How depressing.
Anybody know where I could find a decent cheap stop sign or speed limit sign? Thinking about making a skidplate for my WRX.
I see em all over the place up on poles for some reason. I never see anyone using them so you can probably just grab one. [editline]2nd June 2015[/editline]
I need some advice. In my dart I really want to go 6 speed (T56 magnum) but the whole set up done and in my car is $5000-6000 and it holds 700-900hp (dont plan on higher) My dad has to change his trans to a more-built one in his cuda, it is a Th400 capable of holding 3000+hp, trans brake, full reverse manual valve body, billet internals, $3000 and i'll need a converter for $1000. I plan on turboing the dart so I guess it'll be better for that but i've always loved sticks. I think its pretty obvious to go with the th400 tho
So what do you need advice on? I think you made your decision. I would like a 5 or 6 speed ford or toyota transmission in my dart, but I don't think I can work it out quick enough so I'm just going to use a MVB on the transmission attached to the new engine. I finally decided on my build for the new motor also, I'm going to make a long-rod stroker turbo slant. Starting with the 225, going to get some 198 long rods, and push that quench way up, then bore .060 over on all cylinders, new flat top 2.2turbo pistons, O-ring the block, and a 211@.050 duration, 235@.020, .485 lift cam, probably 1.5 rocker. It should be well suited for a turbo and should have a 232 cubic inch motor basically. I'm hoping to get 275-300horse @5krpm with 14psi.
Why did the intake manifold have to come off to do the rocker arms? Also, replace that manifold and that 2bbl carter/holley whatever it is. You need a 4bbl, at least a Holley 390. That motor is strangled. [editline]2nd June 2015[/editline] 4 door novas all day $2k. I feel like that is one of the few cars that just looks odd with 4 doors. I'd be on the hunt for a 67 impala if you want a 4 door chevy. i love those 67 Impalas, especially no posts, like Hunter. Which is what my car is named after similarly. "Huntress"
Oh God the 66 and 67 Impalas are fucking awesome, and the sports sedan (pillar-less) version is just as awesome a 2 door as far as I'm concerned. Something bout that Square ass rear end on the 66, Oh man I wanna jerk off to it almost.
stay away from my car amigo

She shines like nothing else, pure V6 Turbo 4wd POWER with the throbbing heart of a panther. Her Bogan-ass scumbag stickers only accentuate all that meaty 90s styling. And what a bargain, 1 and a half grand!
Almost 2 years ago now I lost my father to brittle type 1 diabetes. He left me his P38 Range Rover, which he bought from a close friend and rebuilt only a few years prior. I wanted to make it into something special to honor him. He was a Master Tech for Land Rover and later Parts and Service director for Land Rover Redwood City here in California, and he also was in charge of managing a lot of their off-road outings in the Hollister area for new Land Rover buyers, meant to show customers how capable their vehicles were in stock trim. His White 95' Classic out in Hollister: http://imgur.com/a/3e5dR His Red 87(?) Range Rover he saved from the junk yard: http://imgur.com/a/M1BKF I'm the little kid in the back seat in these photos. So, here it is. It's sitting on OME springs, 31" tires, a (slightly) modified front bumper, and it's still rocking the bored 4.6 HSE motor he built with a mild RV cam and wide-open exhaust. [img_thumb]https://i.imgur.com/J0cljEt.jpg[/img_thumb] There's still a long way to go on this build, but I think it's finally starting to get where I wanted it. Next I'd like to focus on air lockers or something equivalent, depending on what my budget will allow.
Went to deliver an M1 stock to someone that I fixed. He was working on his boat in a sweet warehouse... so as I left I accidentally vogued.

Funny thing, you can get your face nice and sunburned from driving all day with the top down or removed. Who would've thought :v:

I drove a couple hundred miles yesterday on the interstate pretty conservatively and net an amazing 27mpg in my Integra! Sure 60 miles or so were city but I couldn't have averaged more than 30mpg.. Yay for my 1.8L Honda, sitting at 3700rpms doing 72mph probably doesn't help tons either but this is only the GSR transmission, the Type-R/Civic Si/B16A transmissions sit at like 4200 at the same speed and everyone loves to use these when they swap Civics. My fuel economy is hilarious. http://www.fuelly.com/driver/slayer3032 [editline]2nd June 2015[/editline] I really don't want to check how much oil I've burnt in 500 miles, I really don't because my 159k motor is depressing and has been this depressing since I bought it at 103k. I really don't think the oil burning has got noticeably worse though in the past 5 years(2010, shit..) and 55k miles. It's actually super crazy to think that 5 years ago all I cared about was Garry's Mod servers and computers but in a short while that changed after my ATV accident which would actually be 5 years ago today...? Holy shit, that's like exactly 5 years ago or at least my surgery was maybe? I don't actually remember when it happened but I just recall it was the Saturday or Sunday before junior year finals and I was told that I still needed to show up despite literally looking like my face was beat in by a baseball bat, couldn't see out of one eye, couldn't move my right shoulder or arm and was on so many pain killers I could stare at a wall for 30 mins and continue on a conversation to someone who had already left. Oh holy shit, I have a clean driving record again too!!! lol
The crown vic lives again at least for the test drive. We'll see how it does tomorrow. I know for sure I need an alignment now.
well this is kinda surprising [t]http://d1r57ja1amoclf.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/toyota-gt86.jpg[/t] [editline]3rd June 2015[/editline] Only managed to recognize the Castrol and white one.
I don't know if I ever posted about my new car but recently I bought a Volvo S60 R manual. Small specs: 2.5 litre 5 cyl inline 300 hp / 400nm / 295 lb-ft Manual

Yea that's a super cool throwback. Here's the classics! Apparently now we have a drag supra ready as well. I didn't even know he was building it, but it sounds sick!
You are hanging out with the right people, lol.
We're going to this huge annual car festival tomorrow. Since my last post, I learned that we are also bringing a 1JZ-GTE FC3S RX-7. I thought we were only going with the S15. I didn't even know about these cars :tinfoil: [t]https://scontent-ams3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xaf1/v/t1.0-9/11391784_966397343411441_1215445446184209748_n.jpg?oh=4f765889610af7be06f8c1e14d30eed9&oe=55FFF284[/t]
so I got a quote to fix the fender and bumper on my 2008 crv i fucked up a few months ago. It is basically the entire right front fender, the top front bumper and some little trim pieces around the wheel $1200-$1400 what the fuck? how hard am I getting fucked on that price? im checking online now and the top front bumper is $150 and the fender is $215. I'll add $100 for small pieces and trim/fasteners that broke. that sounds ridiculous to me. I can get pictures tomorrow if anyone needs them.
