Especially the powuh.
I must be the only person who hasnt had an issue with bikes. They've all stayed on the shoulder paint, followed all the laws and shit, and have always been nice.
These are the real bikers.
The problem ones are the moms who think they know how to bike and just fucking scream through crosswalks and shit

So my town installed these recently, unfortunately we have narrow streets, and crosswalks every 50 feet or so for almost a mile, I'm really phobic about clipping or hitting them, since ours are held up with what appears to be a steel rod drilled into the roadbed x.x
The local busses will probably flatten them by the end of the summer though

They get clipped all the time in my village and in downtown Rochester. They're pretty annoying because they come up to mirror height.

I didn't even know it was an option, and it's kinda cool.

Those would last exactly 12 seconds before getting run down by a snowplow.
Fuck yes they do. Hearing that turbo whistle and the deep sound of the diesel engine. Not forgetting that lovely smell.
Gas four bangers sounds like shit*. Horrible horrible bleeding inducing sound.
*A few exception exist, but none of them are Honda's.
SOHC Hondas sound like utter garbage, I apologize for every catless, unresonated Honda on the road that sounds like garbage.
Tried to find some clips of cars but just found terrible garbage. Here's some dyno clips of Type-R's since I can't find anything else.

It's really funnier when people try to make power from an exhaust without a tune and spend hundreds of dollars on something that just sounds like shit.
there is literally nothing wrong with prius.
I always thought the bicyclists being assholes was a meme until i came across a group riding in the middle of the fucking lane. And then had the nerve to flick me off as I honked at them. I should have fucking kicked them off.

Around here theyre just in the way everywhere. Stop taking up the whole lane going 20mpg when theres a perfectly good emplty sidewalk right there

Are you paying a tax on fuel to put extended special purpose bike lanes into a city you dont live in? Because I am.
And pedestrians and cyclists can legitimately be really shitty, darting off sidewalks into traffic without looking walking into traffic while staring down at their smartphone.Push a shopping cart across 5 lanes of traffic to avoid using the crosswalk 50ft further down.

Well, this is new.
i always hate seeing the anti-cyclist bandwagon that facepunch has always culminated, mostly because I ride my bike, my dad and all his friends ride their bikes, and riding a bike is something that america really needs to pick up on. The rest of the world seems to know whats up. I think I'm pretty biased on the subject though, I was raised on bikes.

you're canadian, you are paying taxes all the time, for everything.
I've never had a problem with cyclists? Must just be an American thing because every road user in America seems like an asshole who can't follow simple road rules

Bicycles are a great thing, it's just that it's a minority part which has a certain predisposition to also include some of the worst individuals to deal with on the road being car hating ecomentalists or whatever. I also hate the way that people who identify as cyclists treat cars.

Yes, roughly 1/4th of the people on bicycles are those people too except with insane amounts of self entitlement and an self righteous attitude.
I love when bicycles decide to dart out in front of you when you're doing 35 and get mad at you because you had to lock up the brakes to not kill them. For a while, there was large issues with cyclists busting up random cars during commutes through the "downtown" area of my city. We're on the list of some of the most cyclist friendly cities in the US and are probably nearly the most cyclist friendly city in the nation for the small size compared to say Portland or something.
The bay area is a huge cyclist spot, maybe not as large as say Humbolt county... or Davis... oh god davis.. but... that's another story.
Here specifically, in my town, they have closed off the second lane of our one thoroughfare across town, and made it a one lane wide road, with a huge bike lane on the other side that goes all the way across town. It is tree-lined, beautiful, and cost a whole butt ton of money. Do bicyclists use it? Yes - me, when I ride, and that is the only person I've ever seen on it. They ride in the street in packs not stopping for red lights or stop signs. The city actually recently decided to start pulling them over and writing tickets, which is good and fair. You're supposed to share the road if you want to be entitled to use it. That means following all the same rules a motorist has to. You don't see a car drive off to the right during a red light to continue driving in the crosswalk do you?
That's my only gripe. They can ride like a dick all they want and they'll get smacked by a car and I won't feel bad. It doesn't enrage me when I see it - but it gives me a little moment of "they're at it again" But some of them, including myself - follow the rules and that's ok.
That pretty much sums it up.
Cyclists in my town wearing spandex and shit like they're biking the fucking tour de france have given me excellent braking reflexes because they literally do not give a fuck. It's so obnoxious
I've seen this particular lance armstrong wannabe looking motherfucker bike through an intersection while his side had a red light, almost get hit by an 18 wheeler and didn't even look back while the driver was laying on the air horn.

Americans by and large are self centered and rarely look beyond their own interests or consider themselves to be wrong. This, combined with people who ride tiny, flimsy metal tubes around, with a sense of invincibility, and a penchant to ignore the rules of the road, causes a lot of stress and disconcertion with motor vehicle drivers. This constant stress leads to animosity against the source of it.
cyclists here arent that bad except they are shit at bike lane.
Anyone in Hali that's ever done the Waverley road will tell you the horrors of cyclists.
Speaking of cyclists:

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to post that.
Vtec sounds like shit imo. But hey, if you like it, economy to you.
Dude, that makes you sound really ignorant. I'm a euro guy and I still have mad respect for ricers who have class. VTEC isn't all about economy and you yourself know that for a fact, it really depends on the motor. We were all talking about it a couple weeks back.
I normally treat pedestrians and cyclists like deer because you never know when they will randomly jump into traffic. In Vancouver they lowered the speed limit in one area because pedestrians walked into traffic so much.
If cyclists want to be classed as road worthy, they need to get them registered. That means plates, inspections, and taxes. Same shit with these assholes who ride these Chinese scooters everywhere, they want to ride on the road but dont pay for it.
