It doesn't get up to 130 in third, even the 2.0 struggles to get to 130, in sixth. [editline]8th June 2015[/editline]
this is a 1.6 TDI, it does get to 140mph, but not in 3rd. [editline]8th June 2015[/editline] either way it's not really important, but basically most likely the corsa had alot better power to weight than you.
Here's the video from when he knocked off the wing
Does anybody have a working link to the repair manual resource located in the first post of the first automotice addicts thread? http://www.powerlibrary.net/Remote/MainR.asp?ID=PL2532 That's the link from the post, but it doesnt work

from the US: no, its not.. well at least the computer, radio, and red-lights package isnt. not sure about radar. the rest is fine [editline]8th June 2015[/editline] Actually, I dont even think the computer is illegal. It just is illegal to operate while driving
look what i found http://carbondale.craigslist.org/cto/5046851095.html
http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/cto/5020616372.html Honda CVCC's are cool, right?
Yes! 1st Gen Civics aren't very common anymore and the CVCC back in the day was considered too hard to work on by domestic mechanics unfortunately because it was different. There's decent resources for classic Hondas now and you should be able to find parts for it too.
look what i found http://carbondale.craigslist.org/cto/5046851095.html
If I had the cash, I'd drive down there in a heartbeat. It's only 4 and a half hours away.
So... I got the random thinking while driving today, because, I mean, what else are you going to do but daydream about ridiculous unimportant stuff when you drive for three hours for work every day - but, given Chrysler's historical love of Inline-Six engines; how is it they've never really made a V12? I mean, I could totally dig a 6 or a 6.5L V12 Hemi, just to hear the engineers brag saying 'Yeah.. it makes like 400ish ft-#, but it was fun to make.

Mercedes engine. Not quite what I was thinking of.
That's a Mercedes V12 though [editline]8th June 2015[/editline] God damn it.
Sorry, Del.... :notsorry:

Why can't Chrysler just do this! lol http://www.reddit.com/r/cars/comments/2owqtu/making_a_quadturbo_v12_from_two_supra_straight/
Chrysler and Mercedes never turned out a good car together, so good thing it took a backseat. There's a lot of reasons for companies to make v12s and 10s and such, one is balance, a 90* V-6 is an unbalanced piece of shit - think engines where they literally cut the front bank of cylinders off - the V-6 Vortech comes to mind. A 120* v6 however is just fine, or a 60* V-12. But out of all the options an inline 6, or 4, or a Smaller V-8 would be the best, all three have good balance, but on an inline, you increase the weight of the rotating assembly since you use larger counter balances on the crank. Most of their big deal motors were for some kind of racing application where there are rules on the displacement, cylinder number, etc... More cylinders is not always better. That's why it's confusing that Ford has opted for the V-6 as their majority lineup in the future, turbocharged, yes, but would be way better to just have a smaller, turbocharged, V-8, but in the eyes of a hippy, 6 is less than 8, therfor a 6 is better for the environment/uses less gas. V-12s can be small and work, as a fuel efficient piece, but like mentioned above - 12 is more than 6 so therfor it is ruining the earth. The small v12s of the early 1930s were pretty bad at making power, noticably with things like the Lincoln Zephyr flat head engines. That was a 267 CI V12, then a 292, then 306, and I don't know that it ever made more than 150hp. On the other side of things, I believe Ferrari is, or has made a 3.2 liter V12 or something like that with an electric generator on it. But I believe sternly that the future is in micro-turbines. I believe it well enough to have found a couple companies making them and buying stock. It's not profitable right now, but maybe in the future it will be.
V12s are fairly common for Ferrari, Lambo, and Aston. The 5.9 (no matter what Ford and Aston try to call it) V12 has pretty good range, has an amazing sound, and still gets pretty good power for being a small bore, larger stroke 12 cylinder. I don't know much about Lambo or Ferrari engines beyond they're usually following the same pattern of using smaller bores, longer strokes, and flat-plane cranks like their V8 counter parts and are achieving higher rev limiters, really good torque and power outputs, and still decent economies. They're common for luxury models with Merc and BMW still making some, as well. I just think it'd be another neat Hemi engine for Chrysler to build just for the simple joy of saying 'Look, guise, we can play too!'
Cylinders don't seem to impress the masses anymore. I think it's way cooler when a company pulls 250hp out of a 4 cylinder NA, but that's just me. A v12 that puts out 700hp vs a supercharged v8 that makes 700, the supercharged one is more interesting in general. That kind of thing. Also to whoever peeps are living in OR and keep looking at Dodge Darts on craigslist, this blue one is stolen if you come across a slant six Dart with Dutra Dual exhaust (you can tell if the exhaust manifold literally says "dutra") and a 2bbl carb. It has a white vinyl top if you see it.
