• Adding children to GTA - How bad can it get?

Even if you don't kill them, there would be fun ways to troll 'em. A huge line of children. Scare em off by revving the engine!
Who's to say that he won't do shit ILLEGALLY?
He can't do anything legally because he's disbarred for life.
Yea i'd like kids in GTA. But I know shit will hit the fan if Rockstar did.
Rockstar already got some crap for having old women in the game. The reason they won't add children/animals and stuff is because they'll get so much shit from the media and get a bad reputation.
Running over innocent people is perfectly okay.
Aw man, all those people who have never played a GTA game will rage so hard about that.
So why can we kill normal people then? It's just as bad
Imagine stealing a pushchair with a kid in it, and pushing it off the top of a building. We need Just Cause 2 + GTA.
What Rockstar should do is for their next installment actually put some fucking work into the PC port along with some actual modding tools and let some sick fan do it for them so they can't get in trouble.
I doubt Rockstar cares about what organizations/groups/whatever say, as long as it gets an 'M' rating and the game releases worldwide regardless of censorship. Animals aren't as bad as children, obviously, and they'll always be a welcome addition in my book. Even for a game featuring hunting, Red Dead Redemption shown this wasn't too bad. Not sure if the affect would change with animals and roadkill in a GTA game. And about children.. I can only imagine how bad it could get. I don't know of any video game where you're able to kill children without mods, and through the basis of the game. Now, Bully, that would be a different story. Maybe. If there were to be a Bully sequel, and the protagonist(s) are able to drive, I'm not sure how it would be possible to go through the game by running over kids and adults, if let it happen. Seriously, I could go on and on and everybody would just ignore what I'm saying and not care but I'm just putting a label.
I'm fine with extra brutality. Bring it on motherfuckers!

Though I think adding animals and children in games would be nice. It's not like you're actually gunning down a school bus of 5th graders.

Hell, they even let you kill small cute dogs in Hitman.
How about instead of children (bad idea) they add flyable planes (good idea)
I want to kick little kids in the head. For fun.
Fallout 1 and 2 had children, and they were killable. Can't seem to recall too much controversy around it, apart from them being removed from the game in some regions (and thus fucking up a load of quests and events related to them). [img_thumb]http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100226092112/fallout/images/a/ab/Childkiller_Unused.jpg[/img_thumb] http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Childkiller [editline]asgh[/editline] In the case of Fallout the children were there to enhance the realism and harshness of the setting. You are encouraged not to kill most of the NPCs you meet in Fallout. Whereas adding children to the streets of GTA would be completely unnecessary and controversial because the NPCs roaming the streets of GTA exist only to be mown down and toyed with.
I think Rockstar gets enough shit without crap like that. Same with animals. If you could run over dogs, they'd get shit to no end from PeTA, even if you can run over thousands of people too.
Hell even I'D have a problem with running over animals. It was just pixalted blobs. Nowadays games are more graphic and more detailed. Plus people these days are so fucking sensitive.
If they did add children it would be only a matter of time before you see a picture of a child standing next to a dead hooker.
If there were random events like a cat running across a street that would be pretty cool. If i hit it id feel horrible

I've shot a child with a laser rifle (Not on purpose, I'm not a dick) and scored a crit, which cut him in half, he screamed and his chunks fell on the ground and blood seeped out all over the ground. On top of that the description of the event mentioned the fact his spine was now visibly sticking out of his back. Not sure how much more graphic it could get.

Animals would be cool. Imagine a map like in San Andreas and you are driving in the forest, then you see a bear or a moose!
Fuck GTA, let's add children to Manhunt
no more gta Australian gamers if they cant handle mortal kombat then what make you think they will allow gta with kids?
If I recall correctly didn't they have children getting killed in Prey,or was I wrong?
I want to see baby physics
how about we don't add children because a lot of people would complain but instead add midgets
how about we don't add children because a lot of people would complain but instead add midgets
Not a horrible idea actually.
