I'm terrible at everything I try and do. Art, music, photography, programming, comedy, games. You name it, I've tried and horribly failed at it. Luckily for me being a useless fuck was one of the essential requirements needed to be considered management material for the council, so things have worked out fine for me :hfive:
scotland sucks ass sometimes.
It's unfortunate. Most people seem to have a forte, and I... don't.
I'm mediocre at maths and that sort of thing even after studying it intensely, and I'm no good at art either (though I suspect this is because art is something that requires a lot of practice, and not involuntary skill)
I'm genuinely worried about what I'm going to end up doing for a living, as everything above flipping burgers involves high-level math or some serious skill in art.
Would you offer some guidance, Facepunch Studios?
It doesn't require math nor art to be lawyer..far as I know.
Anyway, the moment you decide you suck is the moment you quit. Never quit.
You might suck at that certain subject the first time, but keep in mind that no one starts out like a pro. You will become good at it through practice. Even though it may take longer or a short amount of time to master it.

Yeah, but it requires crazy amounts of money for the education. My family isn't rich.
It pays off. What about being an It? Computer Technical Information. You basically learn how to build and fix computers and learn about OS.
I wouldnt worry about it too much i mean some people know since the day they start school what they want to be, others it just takes a while. ( job wise )
And theres no point in saying your not good at anything theres always something that your good at but you will always have to look for it but you always know its worth it at the end :downs:.

ya fanny
minecraft.
just set the level to peaceful and you cant be bad at it.
Maybe you are just one of those worthless, talentless slobs like me? Finding a job you can enjoy for the rest of your life is extremely difficult and not really something you should count on.
Don't worry, that's just the puberty kicking in.
There's no real rhyme or rhythm. Anything which captures my attention.
Wait for a year, cause I swear to you if you're really worried you'll find something in 11 months.
ya fanny
square go like, pallll.
Being good at things doesn't seem to change anything. I can play the piano, I'm alright at sports and can kinda draw, I know alot of general history and just have alot of general knowledge but I don't think I'm very fortunate.
Im really fucking good at sleeping all day
Don't worry, if it all goes wrong, you can always be a teacher.

I know how you feel..
I thought this too.
until I realised that I was being an idiot and went back to writing my A grade English essays.
aka stop whining and enjoy life and vidya games
Here is my opinion.
You are lazy. You refuse to work hard to learn. You claim to "try", but we all know you really didn't. Make a real effort to learn something, and you will. Instead of spending your free time playing videos games, you should study. This will help you in school, and will provide a future for you.
Stop giving us bullshit. Do your work.
You do have something you're good at. You just haven't found out what it is yet.
I used to be like you, then I started making music. I love it, and I like to think I'm pretty good at it :)
Just take it easy and keep looking, you'll find something eventually. Don't try and rush things, otherwise you'll end up doing shit you don't want to do.
This is pretty much the exact same thing I was going to post.. I used to think I was useless at everything, then I picked up an instrument
Pull the trigger you won't
How about stuff to do with business
Business involves number crunching and the management of things. So, you might need some math.
keep trying new things
Cooking is art in itself. Mixing stuff to create something amazing.
Learn to weld, you'll always have a hobby and a backup career.
Step 1:
Find something you enjoy doing. (Enjoying it is essential. If you hate it, then you're just going to get pissed off and stop)
Step 2:
Practice it until you're good.
Step 3:
Repeat step 2 until you've done 10,000 hours of practice.
Step 4:
You can now do that at a professional level.
Any sort of skill will take hours and hours of practice before you're good at it.
You know those kids who can draw really well? They spend lots of their time doodling and practicing their drawing.
Also, don't get discouraged if you spend hours practicing something and find you don't like it. Don't think of it as a failure, think of it as an adventure.

You're taking the "10,000" hour rule from Malcom Gladwell. He proved it in a handful of cases, but there's an old statistician saying: Number's never come in powers of nine. The chances that superiority in any and all fields is based on a power of ten that is accurate in zeroes down to the ones place is a bit far fetched, to say the least.
Also fuck Malcolm Gladwell, that mulatto bitch ruined my fucking life.
But the meaning behind the statement still stands. In order to be really good at something, you need to do a lot of practice.

Yeah.
But now whenever I'm interested in things, I think of Malcolm Gladwell, and I think "If I'm not going to work at it for 10,000 hours, why bother?" It really doesn't make any sense but I think of it nonetheless. I have achieved nothing in life. I also read his other book, the tipping point, where he argues that people have no set personality. Shit sucks. Since reading it, I've lost any personality I once had, because I believe that It's just a facade based on my current surroundings. Yeah I'm a sheep. But I would give anything to have not read those books :(
don't worry you'll find sumthing
