OP how do you deal with your ears being blocked? Whenever I go on a flight it kills my visit because my ears hurt extremely badly and then the air goes into my head making me become dizzy. Both of these feelings typically last for a month. You should visit the Italian countryside, it's beautiful during summer.
OP you a mile high baby?
I would certainly like to think so, haha.
OP how do you deal with your ears being blocked? It all depends how healthy you are too, though. I was on a plane Saturday with a cold coming on, the added congestion made my ears feel like shit. finland
Thank you! I'll see if that works for me on my next flight.
Come to Chile in mid-September. Its our national holydays and everyone will be drunk and eating lots of meat.
finland
Welcome to the land of boring bland forests, shitty weather, insane gas prices and shy people. (Finland is OK, but there isn't that much interesting to see here.)
spain.
Sardinia sounds like a wonderful place to live at. How are the average living standards there?
i don't live in sardinia, that's actually my holidays house but i've been there every summer for 17 years so i know the place: the living standards are low, sadly, like the rest of italy but sardinia especially is full of shepsherd families and old and almost disabandoned actories, there are only a few industrial cities that really help the economy. turism, however is great; sardinia, and italy in general, is not a great place to live at but a beautiful holiday destination.
I hear Afghanistan is nice this time of year.
Bhutan
Go to Costa Rica and see what the jungle has to offer. Seriously, that place is beautiful.
North Korea?
I still got my Delta Flight Pass Card :v: too bad it does not work anymore :(
syria
Come to Argentina and get mugged... FOR FREE!
Go to south Korea and take a tour of the DMZ Or go to the zugspitze in Germany in winter
Late to the party, but Greece is a wonderful place to visit. Especially the islands. There's Olympus, Crete, and Santorini. The food is really nice tasting, and the best part about the islands is the fact that cats are everywhere. We have a few photos from when my family went to Greece.
Come to Sweden, I'll serve you up a mouthfull of snus.
Snowden isn't in the airport anymore, he got his permit.
You can't fool me Snowden I know it's you
protip OP if someone tells you a country is shitty check their flagdog everyone ever thinks their own country is shitty
I may be biased being German but I can't believe no one has said Germany yet, I love the rustic feel of the cities, Surprisingly Frankfurt-am-main is the only city with skyscrapers, the countryside is equally beautiful with things like the Blackforest in Baden Wurtemberg, The Rhine and The Bodensee, the 3rd largest lake in Central Europe
Go to North Korea, document your experience, post on FP
Go to Russia, find Snowden in the airport and high five him
you need to do this.seriously.
Mongolia. Ghana. Zambia. Seychelles. The Kashmir. Xinjiang. The Marshall Islands. Patagonia. Bitch, you're paid and set, get your ass to exotic places. There are no "best places" in the world, when you've travelled as much as I, you sorta learn that most places are rather similar. But the roads less travelled are generally more interesting.
Go to Munich, and visit the Alps, amazing views
Serbia, Belgrade is a nice place for a city that was razed to the ground countless times
Come to Amsterdam, I'll give you a tour. [editline]30th July 2013[/editline] Unless you want to pay money to get on a waterbike and go trough the canals, hitting every object on your way then wait 4 hours in line for the Anne Frank huis and then say "Where is all the fun"
This thread is making me sad that I've never been outside the US and probably never will be.
go to africa, like tanzania or rwanda or something
why are people rating this funny, tanzania is a superb place to visit. What's the in-joke?
go to africa, like tanzania or rwanda or something
I hear Zimbabwe is shaping up to be a real party country with the election coming up.
