Well, I think I'm screwed in one of my courses this semester.
I don't know how it normally works, but when going for an B.S. in Applied Mathematics( combined with Computation ), the CS courses we take all involve Java of Matlab. The course I'm currently failing, High Performance Computing, pretty much involves C99 or plain old C.
I admit that I'm mostly at fault for not studying and procrastinating, but knowing C is pretty much a requirement for HPC.
