My drawing "skills" without a reference (that aren't to do with anything medical) amount to stick figures. I can draw medical stuff but fuck all else. I'm excellent at copying things down pat, though.

Ironically enough, the best way to get better at drawing without reference is by drawing from references a lot (I learned that the hard way). Eventually you will be able to use the details information you gathered from the references out of memory and apply your imagination. (I.e. I once did a reference of a skull, didn't need to do it again ever (though I really should))

I also learned that the hard way, nowadays when I draw I will usually look at a picture, but for these drawings I had no computer or book with me so I had to use my head.
I just completed my dream comic collection.

On a final... if it doesn't count for a large part of the grade this is not uncommon.
I wish I had an online school like that a while back. I had a 93 for the entire course but made a 67 on the final and they just threw all my fucking work out and said i didn't get credit. It was bullshit.
Yeah, in the majority of classes I've taken, the final counts for 20-40% of your final grade, so you're always sweating bullets about it.
Only classes I've had where the finals don't count for much are English classes, where most of your grade rests on the papers you've written over the semester.

I had a class where I got every single point possible up to the final, and the professor pulled me aside and told me I didn't have to take the final because I would end up with an A either way
was a super easy class, but it was still awesome
I wish there was some sort of random weapon chooser for Garry's Mod. I have a shitton of sweps installed, and when you also take into account HL2's default guns, redundancy is a big problem. It'd be nice if I could have a random shotgun, assault rifle, melee weapon, handgun, etc. chosen for me, so I'm not overwhelmed with options if I want to use a few sweps in a playthrough of HL2's maps
I now have an instagram. It'll probably be collecting dust by tomorrow.
