Very true.
My rant was about linear algebra specifically though. There's an entire 40-page chapter in this book about determinants. Fucking determinants! My co-requisite(Statics and Mechanics for Civil Engineers) summed them up in 2 sentences.
Despite the completely overcast skies, it's actually quite nice outside today. Was a great morning for a long run.

Don't worry, much the same applies to the tomes I was forced to memorize. Practice exams and solved question papers are much easier to learn from if you're stuck on something.

You always meet the dumbest people in retail. I had to deal with a customer that kept trying to buy rental copies of games. She got super frustrated after we told her about 9 times that they were rental copies so she just rented it. A month later she came back and was asking about why she was being charged late fees for it saying she bought it and didn't rent it. Then she got pissed and grabbed all the rental copies and tried running out of the store with all of them.

So we just had a 5 minute long absolute torrential downpour and strong winds that were capable of moving a very heavy barbeque across our porch. I had to frantically call my brother up from downstairs, grab my winter coat and run outside to secure it. My brother's umbrella was literally shredded by the wind.
Also there was enough water coming down to have a shower outside.
