And I don't even scare easily wtf.

i dont trust outlast because it made Critikal laugh and its literally the only times he ever laughed so Im suspicious
The gameplay videos with commentary and shit shouldn't decide whether you trust these types of games, really. You gotta experience it yourself. Believe me, the atmosphere is insane.
I loved the atmosphere in outlast, and I'm definitely gonna stream the DLC some time soon (especially since sgt. jerky bought it for me)

I was just watching someone stream it. They literally started sweating. Lol.
I think I'm gonna start a new game in Dishonored tonight... haven't played it in awhile so I might not get bored with it.

Play through it on really low settings on your shitty computer. You'd get frights from the game AND from your computer's scary performance.

Yeah you better do that. Don't forget about FF XIV too, you need be the fist wizard.
I bought two Susan Van Camp prints, both signed, from the artist herself and I didn't realize it until after I got home.
I feel like an idiot for not realizing it since she seems to have stopped posting online and I really wanted to say how much I love them.
I don't think iv'e been so happy to receive something before.

I turned to the last page of the final book to the last comic strip of Calvin in Hobbes sledding in the snow with Calvin saying "Let's go exploring" then a ninja chef came into my room and start cutting onions like crazy, I couldn't see him but i know he was there.

i love it when people mention dishonored
favorite game of all time
Bungie just updated Halo PC apparently. Brings back some awesome memories.
I remember playing a four and a half hour CTF match on Death Island with a bunch of my buddies. I'm tripping balls on nostalgia now.

I loved it, but any game with a more linear storyline always has to be set down for no less than 6 months for me to actually play through it again. I get too bored when I remember cutscenes, etc.

I wish the game was more fun for nonlethal play throughs
They give a whole arsenal of murder devices and deadly magics. But if you don't wanna kill anyone you get sleep darts and choking. Nothing else

i enjoyed the nonlethal playthrough the most tbh
the toys were nice and all, but i felt cooler choking out everyone and figuring how to take out my targets nonlethally
also, the low chaos ending was the best ending by far

oh, and the exploration was insane when playing nonlethally
i felt so into the world and could really take in all the details the wizards in arkane put in
Making nonlethal more challenging and tactical is great, but gimping the player's options isnt IMO.

what kind of sweet weaponry would you want for playing a -nonlethal- playthrough
Making nonlethal more challenging and tactical is great, but gimping the player's options isnt IMO.
I took the lethal route on my playthrough. The dude that drives the boat cussed me out at the end so I used my sweet lethal toys to cut him up, throw him into the water, and watch the fish feed on him.
What did he think would happen talking shit to a crazed murderer.
Knock-out mines for intercepting patrols, the chokedust from the DLC was nice, fuck even a blackjack for faster knockouts. and hell having magic powers gives a shit ton of possibilities.
And even more nonlethal gadgetry/powers like decoys, temporary blinding, or noisemakers. Or even indirectly lethal stuff like frenzying.
You really can't deny they focused more on making powers/ weapons/ gadgets for lethal players and left nonlethal players with junk.

Also the game was super easy. My first play through I played on the hardest difficulty and IIRC the only time I got the game over screen was when I [sp]jumped into the tub with the maid[/sp] :v:
i shouldn't have bought doom 3 bfg edition after i heard its bad reputation
my only issue with Dishonored was how easy non-lethal sneak route was
i mean the whole point is that you pretty much never come into contact with another human so all the difficulty pretty much flies out the window
Just finished first mission. Didn't get bored. So looks like I'll be playing through it again.
And yeah, Ben, does seem like the non-lethal route screams at you to take it and is extremely obvious.
Saw a car run into a ditch and get stuck at an almost vertical angle just a second ago. I pulled on it with a chain while four people sat on the back as a counterweight. They forgot it was in neutral and I watched as it rolled into another ditch.
