It was GLORIOUS
So I was with my parents all day yesterday shopping. We left for Cambridge at 9:20, and got back at 5:00. The rest of my night was taken up by the Sopwith I bought. That thing is huge, and more than once did I have to take something apart and rebuild it just so it would work.
Also the store I bought the Sopwith at didn't have the crane I wanted. But they did have human-sized, brick-built models of different sets throughout the years. Some of which being Vladek from Knight's Kindom and Takeshi and his mech from Exo-Force. Not to mention the giant set up of 1980-something space sets and a mini set up of the LEGO movie.
Shit was so cash.
Hate is extremely addicting. I would dare say it's worse than liquor, or smokes, or any kind of pill or powder that you could think of (and I know because I've tried many of them). Just as easily as one can drink their life away, one can waste an entire lifetime pointlessly trying to satisfy their hate. The thing is, you can never satisfy hate. It's like a fire, it will only grow more intense the more you feed it. Like a fire (or perhaps like an addiction to amphetamines or opiates), as it grows more intense it demands that you feed it more and more in order to sustain it. But inevitably you're going to burn yourself out, the only possible outcome of feeding that fire is a pile of ashes that was once your life. If you're really lucky then you'll only burn yourself, but fire doesn't like to be controlled and contained. Fire naturally wants to spread and consume everything, and hate works in much the same way.
There's days where I just want to jump into a lake and not come back up, in the hope that it will douse the flame before it spreads out of control.

I met a 22 year old guy from Chicago back on 2010, he was bigging himself up about being Polish and that but couldn't hold his drink for shit.It was borderline disgraceful.
Way I see it I don't give a shit about your heritage if all you do with it is say "oh i'm 1/4 whateverthefuckistanian" to someone because it doesn't contribute anything. It's you just acting smug about something that you didn't achieve.
