kinda wanna do a movie review/analysis channel or something I think that'd be fun and give me a platform to talk about films cos I really like talking about films and even tho i have a bunch of friends who feel similarly they don't always watch the same stuff as I do and often they don't at all so i cant talk about stuff but I think also Iw ill review older/favourite films so i have an excuse to talk about how Gummo is a masterpiece and how Tranformers is actually kinda good and how Brazil is a piece of shit
I can't wait for your review/praise-fest of Spring Breakers.

Give you a fiver to include the "Mozart's on my dick" scene.

Yeah it's nothing like how it was marketed lol it's essentially an art house film but with Gucci Mane in it
It's an elaborate social critique.

European elections are so fucking annoying, everything is like "oh you gotta vote for something or the EU will be eaten by evil corporations and the earth will explode and burn or something shit i dunno"
I am not gonna vote for a party I dont like nor am I gonna vote for a party which I have not looked up what their stances on different questions are.
this leaves me with a total of 0 parties to vote for, if it was up to me we'd leave the EU anyway.

Welp, got through my job interview yesterday. I'll know how well I did in two weeks.
Two weeks.

I always wondered why a lot of political agendas never seem to exactly say what their reasons are.
For example: Obamacare. I wasn't following what was happening very well, but from what I understand, congress didn't want Obamacare to happen. When asked why, the answer is always along the lines of "Obamacare is evil and wants to ruin the economy". I never heard a legitimate explanation as to why it is "evil" or how it will ruin the economy.
So basically I never believe a word spoken by politicians unless they have sufficient proof/ reasoning.

It's poorly implemented and adds another level of bureaucracy and cost to an already lumbering and inefficient system. All it really does is add one more place for the government to hemorrhage money out of, which we can ill afford.
After being sick for five days, and having been unable to eat really anything outside of soft-foods, I am so glad to finally be able to sink my teeth into a oatmeal cake.
Summer's here now I have all this room for activities
First one involves sitting on the couch until the end of summer
Man Americans love to complain about taxes. They complain about the government not doing anything but they need money for that. How do governments get money? Taxes.
Remember being in some clothes shop in NYC and asked the woman at the counter about how VAT works (we were buying shit loads of stuff) and after we told her VAT in England she looked visibly shook at the prospect of 20%
I once cost my dad 100 quid worth of VAT because I "had" to pay a quick visit to a gamestore to look for inFamous 2, three hours before our flight :v:
We didn't get it from said gamestore and found it inside the airport for cheaper, I felt like an asshole.
It's not complaining about taxes as a whole. It's complaining about what that tax money ends up getting spent on.
Get it right, please.
My GoPro came today, can't wait to get out and do some stuff with it.

I don't know throughout my classes in US politics people seem to complain about the government not doing anything with their money, but when they actually do things there is complaint about big government taking over.
There is many other paradoxes like that in America, I will never understand them

We don't all think the same thoughts. The people complaining about government over-involvement and the people complaining about lack of government involvement are two different groups.
Generally (that's a key word here, there are plenty of exceptions), people from rural areas are suspicious of the government, since they're used to relying on themselves to get things done and they don't see the need for outsiders to get involved. People in the cities, which rely on extensive infrastructure and support systems, generally hold a positive view about government involvement.

You just gotta live here to understand it, really. Classes won't teach you shit unless you can live it.

Anybody seen Mud? Watching it right now. Seems pretty good so far.
I always like those coming-of-age movies.
The new Sims 4 creation menu is amazing.
And it makes me thing
How the hell did it take so many games with character creation before someone came up with this
I mean it's so simple, so obvious, and so god damn effective
I hope all games with character creation are going to use that model now.
[editline]14th May 2014[/editline]
Also I finished watching Archer and I did see that ending coming. Amazing either way.
Such a great fucking show. I have high hopes for the new seasons.
Doesn't EVE have a similar style of drag-to-shape controls for its character creator?
