My mother is having trouble breathing, my father just gave her the last of her oxycotin, and the hospice nurse is on her way. I feel like doctors should always give you a low range of numbers, and under shoot it a little, so those extra few days seems special. Not just "weeks or months".

Speaking of insomnia, I've been awake all night, but somehow I don't feel tired. Weird. It's possibly because I drank 1/3rd of a beer bottle that knocked out my sleep pattern, considering I've drank more beer than ever before.
In some grim way, I'd prefer my mother dieing this way instead of older age after seeing her go through dementia.
Why does everyone see life as black and white. Can't everyone see that life is made of shades of grey. There are always shades of grey in between all the good and evil done in the world. Nobody is right or wrong, but everyone acts within the shades of morality. Who's to say you or I am the bad guy in this situation. I think we all act on our own ideas and from that form some sort of idea of who we think the bad guy should be. For politics, it seems to be the guy with the differing opinion. In relationships, it's always the person who breaks your heart. But isn't there always a reason for it all? There's a reason for every action. Why can't we all be more tolerant of what goes on around us. I was in pain and in turn hurt someone, but I'm the bad guy, which just makes the pain feel worse. But when I was hurt from someone in pain, I consoled them and helped them fix themselves. Shouldn't that be what the world is like? Less being selfish and more being selfless. The world would fix itself.
