I like the Godzilla Snickers commercial
The way i saw it, all the proatgonist soldier dudes story seemed to be was "I have kid and wife and must be in place where monsters are"
I was just happy he was competent. I didn't really care about him, but I don't give a shit about any of the people in any Godzilla film. I was just happy it was't a "WHERE'S MY WIIIIIFE" sorta thing the entire time. He just sucked it the fuck up and did soldier things. That is fine by me. Also the kid didn't do much. Good.
Yeah its true he could have been a lot worse.
How do you directly link sound cloud tracks so it appears as the small player on this forum?

it's pouring down outside at 2AM, yet my cat hasn't come home. :( she recently had her fur cut so she doesn't like it outside when it's raining or its cold outside, so it worries me that she isn't coming home aaa
I think its fair to expect more than a man in a rubber suit nowadays. And besides I'm not talking solely about the spectacle of the fight. To me it just felt like "the mandatory fight scene at the end", not a conclusion you were rooting for.
what else did you expect, the movie literally said in the first half that it would happen
what else did you expect, the movie literally said in the first half that it would happen
No shit there was going to be a fight. I just wanted a fight that didn't feel like a tick mark on a screenplay. I wanted a fight I gave a shit about, and didn't get that.
I wanted a fight I gave a shit about, and didn't get that.
what'd be enough for you to give a shit about it, then? i mean, in the movie, the stakes were pretty high
what'd be enough for you to give a shit about it, then? i mean, in the movie, the stakes were pretty high
Stakes aren't the only thing that matters. A bad movie can make me not give a shit about the fate of the universe hanging in the balance and a good movie can make me give a shit about the average work day of an accountant. It all comes down to how well the movie makes you care, and I just didn't care about much in Godzilla.
then again, what would be enough for you to give a shit about the fight?
Fuck if I know precisely what, I'm not a scriptwriter. All I know it there was nothing holding my attention. Godzilla's impetus for everything was "THERE SOME MONSTERS THAT WANNA FUCK BETTER KILL EM" (and to be fair that's fine for a giant monster's motivation) and the human element was "I AM EOD FAMILY SOLDIER MAN GOTTA SAVE DAY". Sure there's a city that's in danger, but that's not enough. You can't just say there's a face on the city without putting it there. At that point it's just a macguffin. There needs to be something more relatable. That's where the human elements of the movie came in and that's where they failed. Nothing hooked me and when the fight showed up it was just Godzilla fighting solely because there needed to be a monster fight whether there was a good excuse or not.
godzilla was fighting to protect waifu and stop living life of crime sadzilla bestzilla emotionzilla oscarzilla [editline]19th May 2014[/editline] also, its a monster did you expect it to give a speech and leave or maybe you expected it to give a new technique for solving the world hunger or maybe it held the meaning of life in its colon

It just isn't enough to make a compelling movie out of. That's why Godzilla movie have an emphasis on human stories. But the human story in Godzilla '14 sucked.

Seems like turning the lower frequencies in the bass spectrum increases bass. no shit, it's sub-bass, lower freq. My equalify setup is like +4db @ 60Hz, +4 @ 170Hz, +3 @ 310Hz, +1 @ 600Hz and it just levels off at 0db for the rest. Sometimes I can pull +7db at 60Hz but it's hard to have the song not sound all fucked up.
Gonna go through the task of manually tagging all the songs in my library. Its montonous but I sort of like it.

I have study leave from yesterday until the end of my exams (13th june) woohooo
I have no idea where to ask this. I need to make a number of small purchases over the internet, I need something prepaid or reloadable or something. What do you guys think is the best way to do that? Assume for the sake of argument that credit/debit cards are out of the question.
jsut go get prepaid mastercrad or osmething
mastercarde plebtiere, get prepaid visa
Do they make a reloadable prepaid visa? Because all the ones that I have seen only come in $20 or $50, with a $5 activation fee.
